Prometheum Cult on the Ship Choice?
Mostly just posting this to express my annoyance that the breath-takingly simple and common sense solution of "You can keep burning your canisters, but not near the damn fuel lines" is not one of my options here.

Yeah it's a little annoying that it's not a choince
I had the same idea, was also upset when i didnt see it lmao. Similar scenarios have occurred in the main storyline, frustrating lol.
by the way, what is the best solution here ? do you gain anything from the prophets visions ?

No idea. If the choice has any consequences i've not yet noticed them.

Not to my knowledge, I picked three different options so far and they were never mentioned again in any way.

Indeed, your choice here doesn't have any apparent repercussions later. However, considering Einrich Montag's true nature, the issue with the fire-worshipping cult does make me wonder a little how much of a problem those loons actually were.

Perhaps he took issue with them because they may have seen things that they weren't meant to... such as reasons for the crew to keep a close eye on their dungarees. As for Jocasta Sauerbeck supporting his assertions, well, she's a bit of a sadist who will never forego an opportunity to introduce a power maul to someone's face for any reason.

I would have quite liked it if there were some consequences for you, or the genestealer cult on your ship, if you let them keep doing their things. But sadly outside of this one event where they get mentioned in the beginning, they won't ever get mentioned throughout the whole game again, not even in the endings. Seems the potential there is a bit wasted,

+100%, mate. That whole promethium cult does indeed feel like a wasted opportunity... and frankly a waste of time. Why interrupt your Warp jump for something which has absolutely no consequences in the long run? If I'm not mistaken, allowing the cult to continue their religious pyromania doesn't even cut into your promethium resources (as in those you use for colony projects and contracts).

Isn't the next DLC supposed to focus heavily on Psykers, Blackships, and the more Emperor-approved Cults? Maybe the Promethium Cult is an intro to that stuff?

Or more likely, it's cut content. Cuz yeah it's weird as hell to rip me out of a damn warp jump for something this trivial.
