Question about DLC
I noticed when starting a new game there's an option to enable or disable Void Shadows.
Does that mean that If I start now, when Lex Imperialis comes out I won't be able to enable it mid game, only for fresh games?

You do realise that since that DLC isn't out yet, nobody can answer that question? Considering old Owlcat games it'S a 50/50 chance that you can use it midgame, but honestly...what a weird thing to ask.

Right now with Void Shadows, how does it work? I didn't have the game before the DLC came out

As far as I know you can activate it midgame. But the events will trigger pretty much one after another. So with Void Shadows, you can use it whenever you like. Not tested tho, just seen a couple of YouTube vids that enabled it midgame.

First and foremost, this DLC was delayed twice I think before launch. I think the original date they were shooting for was April, then August, then we got it in September. I would love for Lex to be released on time, it would really really work for me to have it over the holidays, but I am not holding my breath.

Second, on the pause menu there is a section called DLC where you could activate it mid game if you need to. The content will not level with you, however, so the experience is always better with a fresh run. I would suggest you just enjoy your current playthrough, start again with the DLC and make new choices and play a different class and alignment and get something fresh from the experience.

If it is like the recent DLC then yes if it is something different then I do not know.
Have Fun
