For Jae: there are reasons that she acts like a gold digger, but they do not come up until chapter 3
Jae is an "impostor". Her whole personality and even the way she talks is only a role she plays. The real Jae is just a lowborn imperial solider who wanted a better life. if you like that personality better you should be able to convince her to stay that way.
I kept her around initially, begrudgingly, but hey, you are playing it fast and loose with all these pirates already, she doesn't stand out much given the others. So You know...give her a chance.
You later get more information on her and that made me....reconsider.
The named ones can't die in that fight, they jsut go down the same as your party members.
Yeah I got that option and it really felt like what my character would do in that situation and I feel torn between playing my character the way they would logically act or playing in a way that gets me more content and loot as a cRPG gamer.
Because I know if I kill her it feels like a satisfying story moment at that point in time but then there is nothing that comes after that, feels like I would just be robbing myself of extra content which causes me to act against the logical direction of my character's persona.
