But this game has nothing of sorts, i have played this game with zero 40k knowledge and was so amazed by my experience that it pushed me into becoming a full fan
Compared to Divinity tho it has A LOT more text, but writing is amazing and replaybility is on another level from everything i ever player. 8 endings for first companion you meet for example
I myself had to use it recently as a game I bought was really messing with my eyes and I was within the 2 week of purchase and had only played 45 min or so time frame.
I liked the game a lot more then D0SII as the game system is much better, again IMHO.
This game ticks the lot and then some.
Was very glitchy on release, now am at my second playthrough since last dlc was out, haven't had anything noticeable or game breaking
The only part of the game I would call grindy is the puzzle they call colony management, including finding enough mining rigs to get the resources you want. It actually seems to matter less than you would think. I'm thinking about ignoring it altogether in my next play through. The only thing I could see you might lose are a few items and morality points and making the space combat a bit harder.
Hu Grind? No, but you could always make a suggestion to the developers to add some if it's your thing.
What I would suggest is if you did buy, is to buy the bundle. I made the mistake of buying just the game and then had to buy everything else separately.
The other involved Kibellah doing lethal acrobatics and somehow ending up treeing herself on a generator and not being able to get down.
Had to reload that battle encounter because you can't travel without all companions close to the travel spot and she had developed a severe case of fear of heights.
Highly recommended to get the DLC.
It is really well interwoven withthe main campaign but to me it was the best part of the game.
The combat is more interesting and the story is done very well. And by interesting I don't mean just tougher fights. They add a bunch of "gimmicks" that prevent you from just overrunning everything, ie it's not just taking turns of shooting. The rest of the game is largely just variations of the Kool-Aid Man wrecking everything in sight
I second this. Op may want to get this DLC if they feel it's a game for them. It's quite a important DLC. One you don't really want to miss out on.
It would be interesting to see a follow up post by the OP on what they think about the game.
