Strange Skull Tactics Area

These do not seem to apply any visible effects to party members or enemies and i cant figure out if theyre from some kind of item or perk i picked. I suspect its from either the enemies or argenta because i dont use her that much and just added her back to the party after a while. Anyone got any ideas what it could be and do?

Warp daemons, especially Tzeentch daemons leave this area behind, when they die.

yea I know it happens for sure when a pink horror splits
I think you also leave one behind with the bounty hunter mine but that one might looks slightly different. I only remember it leaving behind an area..not whether or not it has a skull

Do you know what its supposed to be doing? Theres no status effect displayed for standing in it, neither for allies nor enemies, the only thing i could find in the log that could perhaps be it is "Warp Gale: The warp currents grant creatures bonuses to their dodge and damage" but im not sure and it seems kinda bugged as it has no icon and again isnt listed anywhere.

oh suddenly its showing up but strangely only for blue horrors that split while inside the area beforehand

ha and just as i took the screenshot, posted it and went back to confirm its gone from their stat sheet again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
