His daemons were attacking just fine last time I played so I assume the devs broke that with some of the newer patches. RIP

I was assuming spoilers due to him being a boss in the later stages of the game. Since I already completed the game I didn't think it'd contain a secret companion spoiler. Would have been easy to indicate this in OP topic with spoiler tags. It's not called a "secret" companion for nothing. Don't know why you're defending this. It would have been very simple to avoid the spoiler about this particular part. I'm sure OP didn't do it on purpose, but you're making it seem like it's all my fault. Well you do you.

Back to the topic at hand, I have the same issue on my heretic playthrough.
None of the abilities of any summons can be used nor what I guess is their "basic attack"
Also he is not able to equip any astartes weapons aside the ones he came with.

I love the game, but it's really disappointing to find out there are still companions that simply do not work even 6+ months after release :/

Hopefully Owlcat can find the time to fix this now that the game is stable

I actually managed to use them to soak up a hit from a tougher enemy from time to time. So not entirely useless.
Imo the biggest con of this whole thing is you get Uralon/Incendia/Caligos so very late :^(
