So what happened to Heinrich's Mentor?(Spoilers, probably)

I made my Heinrix merciful on the tech planet back in chapter 2.

I chose radical options during the convo with Emelina though.

In the end she said something along the lines of "Now that I know you didn't kill wusername...." and then she went quiet and started talking again almost pleasantly, as if she were just meeting us for the first time.

I assumed she must have erased her memory again somehow? Which would mean no need to kill her I think. Then...nothing. She just stood there and my first available dialogue option was "Buy why?"

'But why' what? What happened? Chalk this up to ANOTHER freakin' bugged quest/scene. What was supposed to have happened here. Is she still alive? Did he kill her? Did she kill herself? Why would either option be needed if she deleted her memories?
