Can you max ALL the trade factions?

Out of curiosity, I was wondering about this.

Nearing the end of my first playthrough, and I maxed out the Mechanicus and the Drusans, put a lot into the Imperial Navy (80%?), and the rest into the Liege and his black market (30%?). I blew off the pirates early on.

Is it possible to max out reputation with all of them, or is this a case of carefully assessing who has what for which intended character build, and boosting your reputation to get it?

I don't think so. You need to be selective with the vendors, see the items they sell, even online, decide what is good for your build, see what projects give reputation with one faction and another and max only vendors you need, or reach levels of the vendors to buy items you need.
Imperial Navy is totally separate from the other vendors.

Oh you can, but it's tedious as hell. It requires endlessly grinding Void Encounters to flog their loot. I know someone that set out to do this specifically, and if I recall correctly he said it took him about an extra twelve hours of pure grinding. I wouldn't recommend it.

I have no idea what you guys are doing. In my last 2 runs, I maxed my faction reps once I was done with the colony projects in the beginning of chapter 4. If you choose most options that give faction reputation from colony developments and balance the ones you lack reputation in with colony projects, it is easy (although it is kind of meta gaming, instead of roleplaying). No void encounters grind needed.

I maxed out all but one reps without trying, on the current version of the game. No intentional grinding.

In my 2 complete games I have never maxed out a faction.

In a recent playtrough after 1.2 dropped, I was able to max all factions some time after Commoragh with a decent-ish chunk of the game left to play. I had maxed out all but Ryza I think it was for somewhat longer. Commoragh's loot goes a long way towards maxing reputation with most factions, and colony projects certainly help speed things up.

you can, on my previous run, i was already maxxed with all factions already in the act 4. i can find a save and send a ss actually
