Daemon Tool bugged w/wo Cultist Hood, anybody use it and has some insight?
I am heretic pyro and found Daemon Tool in Act 1
Cultist Hood - get 2 AP for using psy power attack or suffer 10 warp dam
Daemon Tool - when wearer deals warp damage the target suffers burning 3, burning effects inflicted by wearer have their power increased by veil degradation

In the beginning i see in combat log additional fire damage applied, then it stopped showing up, remove, equip, restart reload - sometimes I see it applied when I attack with Fire staff but firestorm or Ignite never proc it now (it proc before)

In fact in the beginning i had them both equipped to set myself on fire with their combined effect using Ignite on enemy (you either set yourself on fire or get 2 AP what is win win especially when Cassia uses Bring it down on you and you only have 2 AP.

I have Orchestrate flames and (fire dam halved) and death world talent what reduces fire damage so can tank the damage though when it worked in the beginning I somehow managed to kill myself with this combo.

Tried without hood and it mostly does not work - no sign of Daemon Tool damage in combat log

Without hood it worked for me (yesterday). Chapter 1 sewers fight, i set Abelard on fire, orchestrate, and his melee attacks added 30 fire damage (the fight has maxed out veil degradation).

Maybe it is related to Fire Staff i use? Or it is because i use it on myself?

For me it looks like it turns on and off (mostly off) like it happened to that damned Covenant belt in Wrath.

Ideally it should be great - warp burn on enemies should trigger burn(3) what Daemon Tool should add another 20 stacks on top every time warp burn happens and normal fire damage from Ignite and melee attacks should also have it.

And yes it did work for me in Act 1 and in one side quest after that.

Thank You for input, when You try it in Act 2 on yourself does it still work?

Still on new playthrough so my testing is limited to chapter 1. Not sure if i manage to get to chapter 2... 4 man party without a telepath so Aurora will probably say "no" :P
