Can psychic powers crit?

The wording of "Sparks of the Greater Flame" implies that non-DoT powers can already crit, along with all the crit boosting talents Sanctics and Pyromancers get which would be useless if not applicable to their powers. And yet looking at the logs I have never seen molten beam or ignite crit once, despite the fact that my crit % is at nearly 90% by the 3rd or 4th round of a fight and my force sword attacks crit constantly.

So what gives?
