If you do that, it really just depends on how comfortable you two are cRPGs and the game system. I think Daring should be more than fine for people with even basic knowledge of how to play cRPGs and make functional builds, Rogue Trader is quite a bit easier than Pathfinder in my opinion.
If you mean literally only control one character each and leave the other four party slots empty... well, that's certainly doable (after all, there are people that do True Solo runs on Unfair) but will be quite a bit trickier, since you're limiting yourself to 1/3 of the action economy, damage, and survivability of what's expected. The same basic question still applies as to comfort with the system, but if you want to do this and aren't experts at the system I'd suggest maybe Normal as a starting point.
Yeah, was thinking normal but was afraid it may be too hard being familiar with this type of game but not this one specifically. Thanks for your input.
