Anyone else really dislike the music?

Most warhammer 40k games have this pseudo-gothic, gregorian chanting, horrible, depressing music. Reminds me of catholic church music. In particular the character creation was absolutely punishing to get through.

Eventually I ended up muting the music for the entire game and just play random metal/industrial albums in iTunes, or those atmospheric ambient collages people make on youtube.

No. I love the music.

That theme especially during the battle sequences in Commorragh. The worst, imo, is Scions of Lorgar - the theme that plays when you encounter your first Chaos Astartes (Aurora) on Rykad Minoris. The metal riffs just don't work with 40k in that regard, especially when you consider that none of the other themes in the OST for this game have that.

are you kidding?.... its the very first time a Warhammer game has actually realy immersiv music. It fits the theme perfectly. Not liking this music means hating the setting.

Naw each to their own. Not everyone's going to like the same soundtracks and music. :)

its good, Not as good as Warhammer 40,000 Mechanicus OST - Children of the Omnissiah but good and more importantly fits the setting.

unlike previous two games, this one is forgettable and didn't pick my interest, but it was ok'ish. Just didn't mind it.

Sacred 2 gameplay might not had been the best, but Blind Guardian soundtrack was top notch.
