Unfortunately that's way beyond the scope of our budget. We've added some VO in one of the first patches, but that's mostly it, except for additions in the DLCs.

Maybe one day you can just "license" VO Voices and have an AI say whatever you want them to say..., actually didn't something of the like just came on the market ?

Just read a news report about the potential dangers of that technology, being able to put words in basically anyones mouth while requiring nothing more than 15 seconds or a minute tops of the original voice to duplicate it perfectly.

Scary Stuff tbh

That's not really an option. AI is a very legally gray and ethically questionable zone in this case.

not a bad idea but tbh AI is a robot and doesn't have any emotion to it. you may as well screenshot the image and throw it into a text to speech program if u want it read out to you. and also i'm not a fan of that in any kind of game/artwork. but i'm not going to start that debate.

To be fair, I can totally see a funny Mechanicus Magos, that speaks like a text-to-speech device, in a game like this.

I sometimes think bg3 gave a lot of people a wrong image of the scene.

hopefuly alittle party banter for hidden characters? (possibly make them recruitable earlier?)
(dogmatic, running short on crew, need my fellow RT with me to burn some heretics).

%100. I really like BG3, but as a really popular entry level CRPG, it definitely gives newcomers a skewed view of the genre. Most games in the genre are operating on a budget a tenth the size or smaller than Larian.

Well to be fair D:OS 1 wasn't fully voice acted then the EE made it fully voiced.

They didn't have to make D:OS 1 fully voiced but they did and this was before they blew up in size with the success of D:OS 2 & BG:3
