Any reason to let the Dark Eldar live? [SPOILERS]
I've spared Yrliet because seeing her bow down to me in shame for what she did was somehow enjoyable considering how much of a ♥♥♥♥♥ she is most of the time. About the Dark Eldar, Mazherai, do I get any advantage for sparing him? Maybe I can sacrifice him later?

He is a companion, so can fight with you elsewhere. You can also give him to Heinrix to get rid of him later.

Firstly, unlike Yrliet, who, being a “good” Eldar, betrays you, he is honest in his desire for violence.
Secondly, he can be controlled to some extent. It will not be possible to prevent daily massacres on the ship, but, again, unlike Yrliet, he actualy listens to you.
Thirdly, he is a great fighter.
Fourthly, he is a companion, which means content comes with him.

Is there a chance to get rid of him at a later time after your fight at the arena and after the confrontation at the den? I simply felt that killing him there was a far too mercyful death for him

He is like Loki. Fun evil person.

As others said, you can hand him over to Heinrix, who will, by his own words, interrogate Drukhari with extreme prejudice. The possibility is there up to the last story mission.
Also you can choose to give Marazhai to the Slaanesh daemonettes in the event which will start after you first warp jump while having Marazhai in the party . Lorewise this is far worse than a forced date with an Inquisitorial interrogator, even if said Interrogator is also a Biomancer.

Nah you can't trust a Drukhari, even the Tau know better now.

He is funny to have around, but he will ♥♥♥♥ up your most loyal people in the epiloque. So he is better as dead.

Thank you all. Tough from a RP it makes no sense to let him live, killing him in the arena is very anti-climatic and I think that letting him in, playing along and giving him hope only to betray him shortly after is a better revenge. And of course, beng in Commoragh demands desperate measures.
Marauder Jun 22, 2024 @ 4:43pm
No, there is none. In fact keeping him around will make your epilogue altogether much worse for most of your actual loyal companions. My only regret each play through is that his death is so quick.

Yeah, keeping a Drukhari in your party is pants-on-head levels of insane. I agree killing him in the arena is a bit anti-climatic, feeding him to the Warp is a bit more satisfying if you can put up with him for that long.
Alternatively, I've heard you can give him up to the Mandrakes just before using the Webway gate. Apparently it's a heretical choice, I didn't get the option when my dogmatic character tried it.

I just escaped through the webway and I'm about to give him to the Slaanesh. Giving him to the Mandrakes seems to be the best option tough, robing him of hope just as he was about to escape. Sacrificing him to Chaos is a bit more difficult if you keep Yrliet around because she will protest it but I don't know if it has any flags attached to her

If it is a heretical option, it will eventually cause her (as well as Argenta, Ulfar, and Heinrix) to leave you. Those companions will not stay with you if your heretical level is too high.

Spoilers just in case, but really unnecessary. That much should be obvious to anyone.

I think he's only an option so the crazy heretic players can have one less merc filling out their party. (If my RT was a heretic he'd *love* adding a real drukhari to his retinue)
Harukage Jun 23, 2024 @ 9:42am
It would be fine to have Incubus drukhari in your party. Incubi are mercs who are only intersted in profit and getting better at killing. Sadly Marazai is not that, but typical kabalite boy.

He's the option for girls. You get uptight Heinrix for the normal ladies and crazy villain twisted 'burton-esque' Drukhari for the tumblr girl audience. I'm not complaining, but girls are a big part of Owlcat's audience and crpgs in general, and this character seems to be tailor made for them to enjoy.
