But will there be some change in the story?
if you like that sort of thing, and if you liked game enough to play it twice - then yes. if you don't - then no
personally, i can't get myself to play dogmatic after my heretic playthrough, because being lawful is so dull ):
Here is a really stupid example. You can sacrifice your dark eldar companion for +5 heretic points, but sacrificing the soulshard of the eldar companion to the chaos gods awards no heretic points. I had at least 6-8 dialogue options that didn't say they would reward heretic points but did. I kept a running tally after every dialogue and noticed it.
You need the toybox mod to make sure you have enough heretic points to finish the quest for it before act 4 ends.
heretic space marine companion is currently broken. he cannot use his equipped gear and he cannot change his equipped gear, you can use toybox mod to reset his lvl to 1 and make him useful with just a pistol and a melee weapon.
And apparently none of your crew care that you are a heretic, no they take issue if you decide to murder people with a xenos companion, murdering hundreds of crew on your own in sacrifice to the dark gods is perfectly okay in their eyes.
The writing is rather nonsensical with what the npc's care and don't care about. I want consistency.
They spent very little time on writing the heretical path in general. It makes little sense.
