Heretic playthrough
Is the Heretic playthrough worth it? I played docmatic first and just finished my playthrough. Do I get to see new boss fights and new stuff it I play again, as heretic?

You lose 3-4 companions, gain the opportunity to get 2-3 companions, and you can skip some of the boss fights.

But will there be some change in the story?

I mean it's the same story but you're (secretly, sort of) working for the antagonist side, and you get to be a cartoonishly evil douchebag (sometimes)

if you like that sort of thing, and if you liked game enough to play it twice - then yes. if you don't - then no

personally, i can't get myself to play dogmatic after my heretic playthrough, because being lawful is so dull ):

Heretic one in my opinion is the best one. Especialy the cheezing of industrail world bossfights

Imo heretic is currently bugged unless you take every single labeled and some annoyingly hidden heretic dialogue options you cannot get 500/500.

Here is a really stupid example. You can sacrifice your dark eldar companion for +5 heretic points, but sacrificing the soulshard of the eldar companion to the chaos gods awards no heretic points. I had at least 6-8 dialogue options that didn't say they would reward heretic points but did. I kept a running tally after every dialogue and noticed it.

You need the toybox mod to make sure you have enough heretic points to finish the quest for it before act 4 ends.

heretic space marine companion is currently broken. he cannot use his equipped gear and he cannot change his equipped gear, you can use toybox mod to reset his lvl to 1 and make him useful with just a pistol and a melee weapon.

And apparently none of your crew care that you are a heretic, no they take issue if you decide to murder people with a xenos companion, murdering hundreds of crew on your own in sacrifice to the dark gods is perfectly okay in their eyes.

The writing is rather nonsensical with what the npc's care and don't care about. I want consistency.

It's not worth it, because the heretical path is simply not finished. It goes from slow buildup to from one second to the other, your ship being full of barbed slave cages and chaos infested goop everywhere. And it's bugged in several places.

They spent very little time on writing the heretical path in general. It makes little sense.
