Heretic run

Hola,

Although I didn't finish my 1st run as an iconoclast, I don't know if I'll do another run. That I will make in heretic if I make one.

I'd like to know, does the heretic run really change things? I understand that only some dialogs change and it seems the appearance of the ship but is there more?

And as a secondary question, which class should I take, since it seems that a lot of characters will leave if I go that route?
And is there really no way of convincing those who leave? ( heindrix I know you have to have his romance )

I have only played it half way through act 2, but:
You get minor changes in the tutorial and a few moments where you declare yourself a servant of chaos while standing next to a Sister of Battle and an Inquisitor Acolythe without consequences.
It looks like you will be able to craft a weapon somewhere during your playthrough, though I do not know when and it seems to be a sword.

From my previous good guy playthrough:
You would be able to recruit 2 NPCs late into the game (just before going to chapter 5), given that even Ulfar had barely any interaction with what was going on during act 4 I'd say they are nothing but walking statistics and therefor probably not worth it.

People are still saying that the heretic line of quests has a lot of bugs come late game, I have not played far enough to confirm that.

Hum yes , i saw a lot of people say the run is bug , but some of the messages was 2.3 monthes ago. maybe with the bugfix no more bug ?
But its true its bad if we dont have change ....

Of course it does. Firstly you will lose most of your companions in act 4. I had to fill up my team with manually created characters. Your ship will change etc. Pretty enjoyable to be fair. In Act 4 again you also influence NPC's to change their believes... So there is a few good twists there. I haven't encounters any bugs on the heretic side yet.

heretic run is weird. In reality, Argenta or Heinrix would kill you the very first moment you'd do something heretical openly and it doesn't happen. The fact that no one leaves you until act 4 just says it all.

dont do it for the immersion because u are so heretic 90% of ur comoanion would kill u, some quest are hard bugged. even some rewards are bugged. there are way to many things wrong with heretic interactions. i mean u can f... heinrix as a female and ur chaosaltar is right next to u and him....oh and if u dont farm hereticpoints u wont get a secret companion u will need because some will leave u. this game is the absolut min/max game and iam not talking about combat.

Altar... and the bodies hanging all around the ship, the cages with hostages, corruption stains on the ship. I actually thought during my play through that Argenta and Heinrix would eventually bend their will to the real gods. I still very much enjoyed the heretical run and I would not play any other path.

he was saying he THOUGHT she would because there were no consequences for his doing until chapter 4.
Heinrix, Argenta and Yrilet will leave your party when you go full heretic. It just takes till chapter 4.

which is completely immersion breaking, because if in wh40k you would be so openly heretical, your crew would kill you. Period.

From story standpoint heretic run is completely idiotic, like half of the stuff you can do is so over the top(and not in a good way) that I cant even undestand who thought it should stay.
From Mechanics standpoint game gives you some nice chaos procs( unique upgrades, boss skips, special items etc) so its nice, oh and momentum on each psychic phenomena and perils of warp is fun.
For Chaos run I went with Warrior Fire Psyker once you get the fun sword game gets more bonkers than full buffed Cassia. (But you need rank 5 in Heretic which is a bit hard to get)
