Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress
While I know this may be a bit off the cuff, but looking at general gameplay for this and the like and it makes me wonder, why not make a DLC based on the board game?

Sure, you have a pre-set team and all with very unique allies and retinue characters. Ranging from Rogue Traders, Psykers, Xenos, and even an Man of Iron.

The story is set in a far edge of the galaxy. a Blackstone Fortress is discovered. Not wanting it to fall onto the hands of Chaos, an inquisitor of the space colony "Precipice" calls for the aid of various denizens of the galaxy at large, even Xenos, to investigate the Fortress and potentially find what archeotech that can be recovered... ...Yet there is much more to this fortress then meets the eye.

While I imagine gameplay will mostly be dungeon crawling, some in randomised locations, some in set locations. With lots of enemies, potential allies, and more to encounter. All while trying to discover the secrets of the Fortress.

To bring the board game into another digital medium.

That doesn't sound like a DLC for this game, it sounds like a different game.

That doesn't mean it couldn't happen, though.

Most of the DLC for Owlcat games followers a pretty specific formula. We're bound to get at least one "Roguelike" DLC that breaks from the main story of the game, while still having a way of playing that can be accessed from the main story.

My hope is that we get something involving either an expedition into a Space Hulk or, being a little more wild and out there, maybe an expedition into Chaos space. A Blackstone fortress sounds like it could fulfill similar possibilities.

Let's just hope if Owlcat ever decides to do something like that, they go a route outer then the two computer games of Warhammer Quest that are already out there. Shudder, especially the second one.

Based on the tyranid sample they did, I think a space hulk exploration would be disappointing, DoW 2's space hulk exploration was cool, the original space hulk was cool.

Ye, I'm just saying that Owlcat doing a roguelike space hulk exploration mode would probably be very different than that, partly because there's more things that can happen on a space hulk.

But also because it'd be a roguelike mode, thus focused more on combat.
