Salamander companion for Iconoclast characters?

Please for the love of God, as a Salamander boi I beg for this to be a option in the future. It would fit incredibly well for Iconoclasts.

if you're talking about 2 placeholder idiots you get in last 2 hours of the game, that have no voice lines, no banter and no bridge dialogue (let alone quests) - I don't count them as companions, they are glorified mercs.

Yeah, I do agree they're extremely bare-bones in Act 5. But at least they get some backstory in Acts 2-4.

I'd love to have more but I don't expect the devs to add actual full fledged companions for heretics (like Idira) because it's just not worth it for them.

take it up with Games workshop , they call the shots. The devs had to fight tooth and nail with them to get a space wolf in game. Games workshop was insisting on a black Templar . Let that sink in for a moment, then readjust your expectations. Also, Games workshop are the reason there is no arjenta romance.

I finished the game with a dogmatic-iconoclast character and got a pretty good ending. I was going to do a heretic run but it sounds like there isn't a lot of point to doing so if it just means that you wind up with no real party at the end.

i liked heretic run, it was fun - there's a lot of flavourful stuff you can do as one
but it's scuffed on heretic specific party members, yeah
