ship combat just broke

Ship skills apparently can be used once and then they are never available again for the rest of the game. it's been about 3 in game hours and lots of system traveling since I initially used the skills.

Though I imagine this is more an old bug than brand new.

Popped up halfway through me new playthrough. Might have to just shelve this game at this point until game breaking bugs like this get fixed.

Chapter 2 foulstone has a negative event, 1 heavy cruiser, 1 regular cruiser and 3 light cruisers, and half my ship abilities are greyed out. i would consider that a game breaking bug.

This is mean more of a warning to everyone than a report, as I can do that elsewhere. watch out your skills are not available if you get this bug.
