What is the point of "Dominate" psyker power?
This power is very falsely named.. it should be "please kill me" instead. All it forces the enemy to do is RUN at the psyker.. but it can still attack normally. If you use this on an enemy, they will run at your psyker and 90% of the time shoot / attack the psyker. I guess if you're a warrior psyker, this is fine... but it seems counter-intuitive for most pykers to draw an enemy to you to shoot / stab you in the face.

I guess at issue I have mostly is the stupid name... you are not "dominating" the enemy (i.e. mind control), you are basically doing a sort of "taunt" instead.

Didn't really use it, but based on the text it seemed like a nifty power to pull dudes out of cover so your people can pump them full of lead in the open. Looks like it does just that.

It's supposed to act as a forced reposition of an enemy that's holding a well fortified position. You can also use it to trigger attacks of opportunity I believe, so that's extra dmg.

Getting an enemy out of cover or into range of a melee attack is plenty useful on its own.

Great against snipers and other ranged enemies that would otherwise be staying away from you, especially if the path towards the psycher is littered with your allies that can deliver attacks of opportunity as the dominated foe passes.
I'm playing a Warrior/Vanguard + Telepathy psyker and I used Dominate as a replacement for taunt until I got Psychic Assault.
