Fidelo Inheritance Quest, What happens to the daughter?
Finished this quest, killed both the Drunkard Son and the First Mate, then when it comes to resolve it I only had the choice to give Fidelo the inheritance or claim it for myself, what the hell happened to the Daughter? I had an [Iconoclast] choice *before* killing Fidelo's enemies, Fairly sure I didn't kill the Daughter.

EDIT: So for clarity, I've spoken to everyone, figured our who Fidelo is or atleast what is left of them, What I found strange was BEFORE deciding to kill the Dad and Firstmate I COULD decide to give the Daughter the inheritance [Iconoclast], I could also address Fidelo, give them the inheritance and further decide to kill the 2 miscreants. AFTER cleaning up the scum the option to give it to the daughter disappears inexplicably.

The option to have his granddaughter inherit his estate does exist and I have made the choice myself. We do not know the exact terms.

It is only a prediction, but you will need to talk to all the attendees before you sneak into the crematorium.

You will find out what happened to his granddaughter afterwards in Chapter 4.

I made sure to talk to all the attendees, I'm fairly sure all the steps are needed to discover Fidelo's identity. But it looks like choosing to engage in combat when it's time to give out the inheritance blocks giving it to the daughter.

Like you said maybe it's a plot thing, just an oddity I noticed on this run.

If you want to give inheritance to Adelia, you have to not kill Kas Bellardo (her father) and to not tell him to scram. And, of course, you have to have required Iconoclast level. It is OK to pound Kas if the fight ensues, just don't choose the option to finish him off in the dialogue later.

It is possible to do so no matter if you've pretended to be Fidelio or not.

Okay this is what it is then, thanks for confirming.

I think it's linked to iconoclast as well. If you don't do much of the choices for that up till then its greyed out I found.

And, of course, you have to have required Iconoclast level.

And this is really the ridiculous part. You can yell "I'M A CHOOSEN OF THE CHAOS GODS" with 0 level in heretic, but you can't make your own choices if you've not met some arbitrary threshold for "Iconoclast".

Yeah, I find it kinda lame too. I can beleive in "you can persuade someone because you're wide known as a person who cares about people" as an excuse for some dialogue options being (un)available. But even most stiff Dogmatic could find in their heart a bit of compassion for a non-heretical Imperium citizen, should they want to.

Just for clarity, I find it strange that before I initiate combat, I can decide to give the inheritance to the daughter.

After I've killed everyone and decide to put Fidelo out of her misery, I still can't give it to the daughter, she just vanishes as an option after combat.

You have to do the detective steps in order and talk to the granddaughter. Depending on circumstances you can then hand it to her when the decision is made. I have a feeling you have to resolve this without combat to make that come true.
I got into battle both times I attempted this, once when I wanted to speak to the suspicious priest (he is probably too close to the exit) and once when I returned from the crematory. First time I got the steps right except the last, second I could not talk to Fidelio before I went to the crematory.

Someone posted that this quest can be resolved peacefully, and I think that is when you can give it to the girl. But you get +1 PF out of it, if you claim it for yourself :)

You also get +1PF if you give it to the daughter IIRC. (Chaplain helps her use the money to start a small trading company that partners with your protectorate.)

If you killed my father, I too might not stick around to see what you had planned for me.

In my case it was one of 3 options:
1) Claim all the inheritance for yourself by the power of the Rogue Trader: +1 PF;
2) Give inheritance to Adelia by any means: PF doesn't change;
3) Kill or shoo everyone but Chaplain (and Fidelio) and then claim inheritance: +1 PF.

However, if you pretend to be Fidelio, after the last fight in the quest you will receive +3 PF (PF detalisation will mention this but the description is missing). Strangely enough, you won't gain any PF if you don't pretend to be Fidelio but decide to fight the guests after learning all the Fidelio clues (after "Today you will watch your enemies die." dialog line).
AFAIK, difficuilty doesn't affect how much PF you gain.

Edited after some testing in order to prevent confusion.

Huh. In my case it was one of 3 options:
1) Claim all the inheritance to yourself by the power of the Rogue Trader: +4 PF;
2) Give inheritance to the Adelia by any means: +3 PF;
3) Kill or shoo everyone but Chaplain (and Fidelio) and then claim inheritance: +1 PF.
Tested on Daring and Unfair.

I went in incognito and claimed to be Fidelio.

Okay, I've loaded an old save which has been made after I've got out of the warehouse but before final confrontation.
I have to admit that I've been wrong. If you give inheritance to Adelia, your profit factor does not change. The +3 PF is given after the fight with ceremony guests and is marked in PF log, although without a commentary.
Also for some reason confiscating inheritance now gives me only +1 PF on both my Iconoclast and Dogmatic saves. Either I got a bug of some kind, or I've got a brain fart.

All in all, thank you, it would be awkward to continue spreading disinformation.
I'll edit my prevous post to avoid confusion.

Hi all
Unfair difficulty.
After speaking with everyone and then going over everything we knew with the Chaplain. The Chaplain then said we have enough info and so we called everyone together.
I did ask Fidelio to step forward and nobody did.
I then chose to give the money to Adelia.
Fight broke out and Dad and the female servitor (who was the assassin/daughter of the Captain of the Redemption, I assume) were killed. I did not intervene (and don't remember seeing an option to intervene).
The Chaplain took Adelia under his care and promised to teach her how to be a merchant and ensure she did not squander her large inheritance (and that she and I would make money).
I got +4 PF on the spot.

The quest is marked as complete, however, there's a small [new quest] marker next to the line saying 'Fidelio's identity is still not known'.
