Is there a way to beat Edge of Daybreak?
I'll preface that: I know you have to kill that one demon each time that maintains his shield. That said. this demon usually runs and hides behind some cover I can't easily get to. Compound that with the movement point draining abilities of the other hostiles makes killing it to get the shield down a real task, which of course only lasts one or two rounds depending on your timing, then its back to the start. Couple that with 6000+ health on Edge and my characters 'missing' a fair number of times and it looks like its going to take days of real time grinding, if I don't happen to have key players die or simply get overwhelmed. I've tried to figure out how to use Toybox to make it easier, but installing it seems to require an advanced degree in computer programming. Has anyone gotten past this? How?

He is nothing serious at least on daring difficulty, you just do something very wrong with your builds.

Personally I'd recommend applying as many debuffs as possible, particularly to Toughness and Willpower to lower both armor and wounds. Applying Stagger, Flay the Bold, Castigating, Waking Nightmare, Weak Body Weak Soul in the first round along with Expose Weakness can leave the boss with a fraction of its HP, no dodge, no armor, and 2 deflection. That ends up being a good way to reduce wounds even while the shield is still up.

Why yes.....brrrr.....2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,...oh wait...she has two blue demons next to her....and she starts the turn with 0 movement points.....

Lower difficulty if you are not making headway.
Grand Strategist (Pascal for Example) should be able to negate any damage you would recieve during his bossfight with right items and abilities. Turns this fight into cakewalk on Daring. Dunno bout unfair.

As long as you got a good build, difficulty does not matter. Got more hp, but you still nuke it in 1 turn.

Pray to the Omnissiah and hit 'Enter' again.

Get shield of faith on Argentina, once she has been buffed a little she can finish that fight on her own. (Flensing faith is great for making the fight go faster)
