Almost implies a minor mention to my jaded eyes...Not an entire game with nothing but them.
It would be like saying the Blood Ravens are almost the only SMC out there, just because they have a ton of appearances in video games.....
You are wise to not defend him/her/it.
Peace
UM are my favourite chapter, but they have essentially become THE Space Marines, from how often they get represented in media.
Space Wolves, do not get a lot of air time.
Do not forget that Space Marine is UM, Space Marine 2 is same character.
UM are overly featured it is true. Blood Ravens were a thing to avoid any possible conflict with published Fluff or future Fluff.
I do not care for Space Wolves either. My tabletop war game armies are a full chapter of the Dark Angels-not counting the Primaris BS that caused all the SM armies to be absolutely obsolete without them.
Spent 25 years collecting that. Also have other armies, but that is my main one.
No chance that XC picks the Dark Angels.
That said, my favorite chapter is one of my own homebrews. It's really fun to make homebrew chapters.
Space Wolves one game to them, and one character in this game. They are not very used in 40K media, to any significant extent, and as such retail novelty status.
So yes, 1 game:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/502370/Warhammer_40000_Sanctus_Reach/
- more fitting for them to work for the Inquisition
- there would be more clear conflict of them how to treat XC (a BT would still BLAM him anyway).
- BT is a fleet-based chapter, so more insights in space combat and empire ruling.
Ulfar story barely fits into the game, I'm surprised they don't sprinkle in some Eldar just like every quests in the game.
Too bad it seems the devs are no longer active.
I wish there's Sanctus Reach 2 AND Battlesector 2.
The second largest fleet was held by Space Wolves legion, because Russ and Fenrisians had a boner for seafaring, and what is better than seafaring? Spacefaring. And it was only split once, with some of the ships returned back after Wolf Brothers chapter was disbanded. Each of their damned great company has their own fleet now. Hell, they are the only chapter with their own exclusive Navigator house tied to them.
Black Templars while having several crusades with their own fleets and more marines still have less ships overall. They got some ships from Imperial Fists and are know to requisition ships as their crusades move, but still not even close.
Black Templars are.
EDIT: They would also be more interesting on the religious angle, since the BT does worship the Emprah as a God, so the writer can't write them as atheist for the Emprah (despite it making no sense or whatever) like our dear brother Ulfar here.
