Does successfully completing the King of Distortion event DO anything?
Spoilers for a small planetary event:

In the Litoribum Maledicta system, there's a continental world with an event where the local lord is worshiping some kind of demon in the sky. If you choose to confront the demon, and you've got a cargo hold of holy relics, you can dispel it and claim the planet. It doesn't give you a new colony, and I don't see any new talents on my character, and I don't think there were any material rewards.
Has anybody else who has finished this event know if it's supposed to have any results beyond its narrative?

It does give you some material rewards, mostly cargo tho, go back to the planet and claim tribute.

But yeah, it's mostly a lore thing, like the Eccentric Animal Lover.

You also get a unique ending slide. The hereticaI outcome from it I personally found quite entertaining.

Ooohh nice.

Man, imagine the amount of ending slides, I decide to unleash the warp on Commoragh, let's hope there will be some Daemon vs. Dark Eldar mass anarchy and raep.

AFAIK only by becoming his slave Herald. If you're Dogmatic - it was just another daemon banished, not a big achievement :steamhappy:

P.S. Funny because usually human is going into asylum after encountering their first and only daemon.
