Fine Amasec

Anyone know what this is for? I'm constantly restarting due to restartitus and ran into this in sewer while doing the underworld quest

Amasec is IIRC analogous to wine, and fine would mean it's a good vintage. There's quite a few instances in 40k of names indicating how something is similar to something we use or consume in the modern day but not exactly the same, although there's also just pretentious names ('chrono' for time-keeping devices).

How far into the game are you? I've made it as far as the start of Chapter 4 and I don't recall ever encountering that item.

just got to footfall, start of act 2 I guess.
I found it in the sewer you fall into when doing underworld incognito.
Was next to a loot pile past a jump, was hidden, then I had to pass 2 logic checks to dig it up IIRC

I don't recall that; I'm guessing from the name "Underworld Incognito" that it is related to Jae. If so, that's why; I haven't ever recruited her.

It is marked as a quest item, so I would assume it has some use, but I couldn't say what.

AFAIK it's an easter egg item like Book of Lorgar in same location.
