(SPOILERS) Footfall Resolution
So I am now back on Footfall and have to deal with Chorda, I sided with Vladym and convinced Hironymus to help as well and all is fine and good so far.
But when I now manage through some tough checks to convince Chorda to surrender and be judged no matter what result (Execution, Suicide or Banishment) Hironymus suddenly throws a fit and starts attacking me???

After having reported so many bugs I honestly can't tell anymore if this is just another bug (only a couple minutes earlier I got a dialogue option mentioning Jae even though she never joined my crew) or if this is just random weird writing.

Anyone else got a different ending with Hironymus?

That's what is supposed to happen. Hironymus will get replaced by the chaplain who is much less of a complete psycho.

I got that he Is a Psycho, I just assumed he wasn't THAT much of a Psycho that he just suddenly goes back on what he says 5 minutes ago because Chorda got...judged fairly? It was just so out of left field it caught me of guard hahaha.

Well if it's truly what is supposed to happen and he does get replaced at least it's fine then.
Thanks for the quick answer!

Chorda was his favorite. When she gets executed and hung up for display he goes berserk.
In most of my plays, I end up fighting Chorda with Hironymus being a part of her retinue. Sadly Von Calox is not, nor is Xavier, so I have to wait longer to interact in a meaningfully satisfying manner.

This is why siding with Chorda was the good solution, despite the hurr yucky she eats da brain cover.

I'm not sure if you can even 100% eliminate Chaos without siding with her (I did and Chaos was fully destroyed in my run).

I do not think we should ever equate Dogmatic as the good solution. Iconoclast would be of a higher morality than Dogmatic. Of course Heretic is just that, and makes no pretense of goodness. Though.... Heretic in the face of the flagrant evil that is the Ecclesiarchy, could be good-ish...maybe?

There is nothing good or moral about letting Chaos fester in your domain.

So nope, Dogmatic is the good solution there.

I went Dogmatic and found out all the ♥♥♥♥ he did to Chorda. I confronted him, he admitted it, so I told her and she was pissed. Then she judged him, and I suggested penance. He lived through it and got even more fanatic, it was great.

Also, I made Vladaym a servitor on my ship.

I did the same LOL.

Surprisingly, I read some spoilers and Vladayum actually doesn't live long in Iconcoclast either, the man unironically is the most successful in Heretical route with Footfall basically devolving (or evolving) into a Chaos hive.

So Dogmatic it is, long live Chorda!
