Not enough Cargo to max a faction?
Is it posible that the cargo requirements or rewards are unbalanced? Im pretty sure im managed to do everything and still im some way to reach full prestige with anybody, I think im just finishing chapter 4 (Calcazar not in footfall anymore) and then I got a cut scene with the heads of the factions wishing me luck :(

Especially the reputation with the navy, you can only improve it with void treasure (only obtainable in ship battles) and maybe some improvements in certain worlds. But I think I did all of them and only managed to reach 10 prestige out of 14.
Same goes to explorators and doloroso. Vladaym its more expensive for some reason.
Some improvements also ask a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of prestige ( navy whips, mechanical trade and power of plasma). Could it be that cargo is unbalanced or im doing something worng?

You can can get a lot of rep with colony projects. You have to chose, tho.

Apparently, building rep with one faction makes building rep with the others (with the possible exception of the Navy) more expensive.

Also, you can get rep from some higher end colony projects, but generally they require you have hit a minimum rep with that faction already, so I think the idea is that you pick one factions, dump cargo on them, and then get the last few levels via colony projects. ... Assuming you've planned ahead and built all the prerequisite lower level projects.

AND, if it's your first time through the game, you might not realize there are more rep levels than you initially see in Acts 1 and 2. You can more than max a faction in Act 2 and think you're good to dump everything else on somebody else. Then you come back from Act 3 and realize you're maybe halfway with that first faction and wish you hadn't spread your Act 2 cargo around.

Could you please elaborate? I'm not nitpicking, I've also noticed that Kasballica Mission requires significantly more rep than, say, Explorators or Fellowship of the Void. Drusians are somewhat inbetween Kasballica and Explorators. Is your situation different?

Im at the end. after I cross the gate there is no way back. I reached 10 navy, 28 explorators, 17 saints, pirates 25 and 3 kaballiska. I did do a lot of spreading thinking I would have more chances to raise it up more. But seems that you need to dump eveything into one then. Or im incorrect?
I can understand that, but the navy prestige its way harder to get and only gets one kind of cargo, I really dont see how I could have gathered more than I did

There is definitely enough projects and cargo to max out Navy. Have you done Elusive Contempt battles in Act iV? They give you a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of void trophies.

How do you do that? I was just using toybox to get the gear I wanted but rep gains would be easier.

It's under the Bag of Tricks tab.

There is a colony event "Echo of Rykad" where you fight Chaos Heavy Cruiser, Chaos Cruiser and a couple of smaller ships. It is repeatable and gives you a bunch of void trophies. But it is random and conditional (it seems for it to spawn you need to not blow up the reactor at the end of the chapter 1).

I maxed out three and that was after the first half of the game me selling stuff randomly to any faction, since I didn't notice their preferences. So I believe it is actually possible to max out all factions, you just need to do 2 things:

- explore every location with high perception and loot all boxes (chapter 3 gives a lot of stuff, don't forget to explore and loot everything)
- sell stuff based on reputation values: 500 / 300 reputation are always your priority, so don't sell your 500 rep stuff to a faction that pays only 200 for it.

And finally, planetary developments can give massive amounts of rep, I think it goes up to 20k per top tier project. So choose wisely.

I managed to max 3 of them (Druisian, Explorators and Navy).

I suspect I can max the two stores two by farming Dark Eldar weapons, didn't bother tho.

Each faction pays the same for an item. An item, say Xeno-Artifacts which goes for 500 RP will go for 500RP at all factions. Ranged Weapons which go for 100RP will apply to all 3 factions that accept them. So your randomly selling did not massively hurt yourself. Unless you was near the max level of a faction then did a big project on a colony that would have been wasted RP.

Man, and I remember arguing with someone that said they cannot manufacture Chaos ships on a daemon world, look like that dude was wrong.

Still in my game I got so much Void trophies that I can't sell (Navy rep maxes out too quick), what a shame.
