Quetza Temer Question [bug?]
Is it true that you must talk to She-Who-Leads-Forward to get the best Iconoclast ending for Quetza Temer questline or is it just internet rumors? Some people say that they had opportunity to talk to her. But for me she's inactive.

She talks to you the first time you reach the village.

She didn`t with me. She tried to but Calligos blew her off and I cant talk to her again.

And I continued, passed all tests vs. Calligos in trying to persuade him to refrain from killing and still have to pick a side. Seems bugged still.
Besides, I realy would like an option to get rid of his Arch Militant, who seems to me is probably a khorne cultist and is influencing Calligos.

It's normal. When you find a squad of eldars and need to pick a side you can ask some questions and pass skill checks to persuade Calligos to stand down. It might require to include Yrliet in your party, if she is not there. Then after investigating hemunculus' lab you will get a scene with psy cry to return to the village and you will get that option you are talking about.

But I`m already in a situation where I`m"hunting" with Calligos and have found some Eldar talking about the lab an that that?s the reason they are here, and it`s a either "kill eldar with Calligos" or "Kill Calligos for Eldar" situation

I got the impression that Yrliet romance helps complete this quest without unnecessary problems and bugs. At least it helped me. I could be wrong.

Yes, exactly. In this very situation I had an option to convince Calligos to stand down and then he returns to the village. You might need Yrliet in your party and on good terms with you to be able to pull this off, though, at least that's what I had.

Okay, luckily had a save just before this.
Here is how it goes for me:

- I am here to resolve this conflict peacefully
...
- Your ships are destroyed, Crudarach is lost, and so are the Farseers. You sacrifced everything to attack this world. Why?
...
- You call purging an entire world a decisive action?
...
- Address Yrliet -> Do you still think your kin is worth saving?
...
- Address Aeldari -> You lost your world and are now depriving the others of theirs out of vengeance. Why do you think you are different?
...
- Look at camp -> Address Calligos -> [Iconoclast] Calligos, you should not kill the Aeldari
- [Coercion -45] Look at yourself, Calligos. You are becoming a monster whose only desire is to kill
After some grumbling Calligos leaves without a fight.

Thanks, but that doesn`t work with me. I dont have the "
Your ships are destroyed, Crudarach is lost, and so are the Farseers. You sacrifced everything to attack this world. Why?" option. And yes, before someone says it, Yrliet is with me.
And after I talk to Calligos I succeed at the coercion check and he says "stop tugging at my concience ..... You sound vile like Incendia from my nightmares to ruin the mood!" Calligos grimaces in frustration. Your worlds do not seem to anger, but upset him.

probably missed a check somewhere along the line. I was on dogma and still had the option to stop the fight. I then loaded and went for the dogma option killing all the xenos...

did the whole quetza temer again and the part where you get lost in the jungle went completly different. I got to the village before even meeting Calligos, where I was greeted by She-Who-Leads-Forward, had a talk, then when meeting with Calligos I skippped most discussions and was able to get that. It was nice seeing a was even able to uncover the truth about his archmilitant and made Calligos kill "him". I just hope he didn`t get injured badly enough that he wont be able to join me.

Yall missed the most important piece - when first talking to Winterscale you HAVE to pick the dialogue option that says - you destroyed a number of ships, aren't those trophies enough?

That will allow peaceful resolution later.

yeah, did that the second time and it worked. I find it a little disappointing, that you need to pick verry specific lines to be able to solve this peacefully. And that comes from someone who critizised the "just pick every line and succeed at the check to get best result" in the past. I think the lines should at least hinted at being the right ones. Didn`t feel that way here.
