Wow, that was easy, just continue to kill the blathering heretic who runs their mouth!

I believe this is the Fury version, which is even better ability-wise.

Just hope this somehow doesn't tie into some bad endings!

OK boss.

So basically this thing is a critting machine. When you crit, it makes you crit more and crit HARDER. You can't miss tho, but I don't think it's even possible for Argenta to miss at this point.

Narrative-wise, I reload, purposely choose the self-doubt option, STILL got it.

When you simp for the girl so much, even your last self-doubt attempt can't prevent her from getting the OP powaa armor.

I had plenty of misses with burst shots with heavy bolter for Argenta. So for me the other power armor set is better.

I guess that's the Fire one?
Maybe next playthrough, I'm happy with this one.

WAIT WHAT?????????
The item can have different effect????
Mine allowed her special skill (aka the priest one) to be free and reusable each time she use an heroic ability... Can come handy, but definitely worse then yours....
This game still getting better and better!

Yep, but you might be getting better ending tho.

My Argenta is all about furious zeal, probably die a heroic death killing some massive daemons.

Yeah my understanding (which is little), is that Fire seems to be the best ending, but has the least times to shift towards it and one can soft lock themselves out of Fire ending quite easily.

Humility and Fury endings may have worse endings, but have more opportunity to shift. Again i'm no expert of the Argenta endings here, but this was my mini guide from a couple days ago on how to pretty much ensure getting Fire ending. you can use it to retroactively get whatever ending you want really:

i'm guessing the best way to ensure getting the PA/optimal Argenta ending (but you should be using Medium armour with the Soldier talent but whatever!), and not the Repentia humility ending, is to pick the "Fire" counter options during Orphan Event and Warrant Event with Argenta.

Fire dialogue options tend to mimic both Humility and Fury options during these events with much of the samish dialogue paths. Kind of a middle ground focused on Argenta's or the RT's personal agency and faith in the Emperor/oneself.

Like for the Orphan scene there's two optimal "nice" responses to the Orphan that challenges you. The first is a humility shift focusing on the sacrifices of their parents. The second one is focused on the sacrifice of the RT to save the ship which shifts towards Fire. Both very similar.

The actual dialogue options to pick for Fire shifts during Orphan/Warrant events:

During Orphan scene after agreeing to listen to them, pick "When the heretics who killed your parents attacked the ship, i was there..." Fire option.

During Warrant scene pick "That's Understandable. Searching for your destiny, ..." Fire option.

The third shift I had was during Chapter 3 when Argenta confesses to "the deed." There's only one Humility and one Fury option there. So a good time to use this as a throw away dialogue or to push your fire shifted Argenta towards a certain half way mark as others have said for neat dialogue. I can also see this as a near soft lock into a non-fire endings if you choose 1-2 shifts that aren't fire in the previous scenes.

If you want to retro actively change these tot he "correct" path with Toy Box, go to Search and Pick and scroll to the right until you see Argenta's toggle on the top right. Click her name just as Th0rn on the first page describes.

Now you want to search for "Argenta_OrphansChoice_" or just "OrphansChoice_" should be good enough without quotes (DO NOT unstart the general flag that doesn't have humility, fury or fire in it. That's a flag that says you completed the choice in general). Unstart your Fury or Humility choice and start the Fire choice.

Now do the same for "WarrantChoice_" unstarting humility or fury and then start Fire.

Now search for your counters by searching for "Sororitas_" without quotes. Scroll down to the very bottom and you will see the three counters for shifts. Move up fire to 2 or 3 (depending where you are in the game and how many times you could have taken fire shifts), and move down Humility and Fury 0-3 points depending on previous choices too.

You might have to unstart any counters that you reduce back down to 0 not sure. Just having a counter started that shouldn't be could possibly improperly return a check later on as "true" when you never picked a Humility/Fury option... technically! :p :P

Now there may be multiple endings that mix and match certain Argenta shifts. For example I read somewhere that Argenta has an epilogue where she opens up an orphanage or something lol. Maybe I dreamt it up. :p

With power armor Argenta's dodge becomes very much a non issue.
I skilled her for dodge with the medium armour perk. Armour is still decent (I think it's called Voidsmen something) but it doesn't get deflection.

Yeah. For me the problem is my main gives everyone 2-4 Deflection anyways. Not a lot though.

I will be switching to PA if the stats are good enough, only because my Argenta hardly ever gets attacked anyways because of Rear Combat areas + Diversion Zone shenanigans. :p

Sorry for the bump, but this literally means you have only about 2 attempts to boost Fire, and the wording is kinda...hard to distinguish from the Fury choice?
Balekai Jan 20, 2024 @ 11:41am
I would say that Fury is easy to spot because it's super aggressive, and merciless. Humility is easy to spot because its well, humility and showing deference, thinking things through and not being so sure about Argenta's actions. Humility options can be seen as talking down to Argenta about her actions too.

Fire is about lightening up Argenta's Spirit and faith in the Emperor. Anything that encourages her on her quest without being super aggressive.

So for example with the Orphans after agreeing to hear them out, the fire option is about about faith in oneself and believing you took the correct actions (as RT) for the greater of the ship. Rising up to the occasion, stating your own sacrifices. The humility option is kind of "I tried to save your parents, but couldn't. Don't discount their sacrifice." The fury option is if i remember correctly, "get out of my face you will all be punished!"

On Warrant Fire as stated above, was about being understanding about Argenta's actions and pushing her to find her destiny. Humility was like "Naw your faith makes you rash." Fury option was more along the lines of "death to all heretics! blah blah blah." :p

I guess you could say Fire options are the aspirational/inspirational choices. Humility options are the self doubt and self reflection choices. Fury choices are the unquestioning aggressive fervor choices.

No I understand.

My issue is there seema only 2 Fire choices before Salis Prime?

My fury Argenta becomes a somewhat legendary figure on my run too, so it's not all bad.

That seems right. Only the two main scenes from Acts 1-2 (Orphans and Warrant) for Fire option. The confession scene in Act 3 only has Humility and Fury shifts. Unless there's any other shifts before Salis.
