Bad news is Crowd Kill seems bugged and the bonus it provides is inconsistent. It's supposed to add +x Damage/per affected enemy, when in reality it adds separate and different Damage bonuses to each affected target.
For example, my character with a +3 Str Bonus cast Psychic Assault on 4 enemies and 1 ally so 5 targets in total, the Damage bonus from Crowd Kill varied from +3 to +15 between each affected target.
Then I reloaded the fight and cast Psychic Assault on 1 enemy and 1 ally, the enemy took +6 damage from Crowd Kill, while the ally received a nonsensical +12 as if I used the Ability on 4 enemies.
There doesn't seem to be any logic to how the bonus is applied, but at least it works, kind of.
