Halo Device (post patch)

So I've been wearing the Halo Device ever since acquiring(heresy IK), pretty much whole act4 and into act5 now.
However after today's patch, immediately upon opening/closing the inventory I am greeted with the following popup:

There is no option to keep it and both of my given options lead to me losing the Halo Device.

Has anyone encountered this ?

Report it. There should be 3 paths. It is an oversight or working as intended and Owlcat didn't want people to keep and wear the Halo Device.

I have reported it via their discord, they are looking into it. And it's almost certain it is related to them touching upon the Halo Device in today's patch.
I am lowkey hoping there's more people having the same popup and that it's not just a rare kind of bug that only appears if all "flags" align in a certain way, making it a less of a priority for them to fix. Selfish, I know. xd

While the item is good, I would advice is either give it to the Inquisition or keep it under lock and key in a safe place, outside temptation. In the lore people who wear the Halo devices get to experience a fate worst than death. So you guaranteed the bad end most likely in the ending slides by wearing the Halo Device.

Wearing a Halo Device guarantee a fate worst than Chaos. And one that becoming a deamon prince is no escape.

If you don't know what will happen and are desperate for easy power/immortality then yes wear Halo device. i would rather make a deal with a demon or Chaos than wear the Halo Device.
No. In the lore it makes you become worst than Chaos Spawn. Or any positive outcome for you like Chaos Mutations or Ascending to Demonhood.
And you are not spared from the bad end by ascending to demonhood.

For Chaos followers it is. They don't know or care about loosing yourself and your humanity and you become a caricature story of your path to ascension. But people near ascending to deamonhood are close to caricatures to their god as humanly possible as well.

lol when I wanted to keep it Yrliet literally just said "no I won't let you destroy yourself!" knocked it out of my hand and the item is just gone. Little elf loves me to much i guess
