Let me CORRUPT Heinrix (spoilers maybe)
This man is obviously on the edge, and he says time and time again how inquisitors fall into heresy ALL THE TIME. His personal quests are all about him going deeper into the abyss - and I get no option to say "bro, it's okay, join the dark side"?

COME ON, that's such a missed opportunity.

P.S. If he's not bisexual, I want to at least be able to hit on him as a man, give me that option please.

Why are people talking like you can't corrupt Heinrix? You can (although romance is required, so female PC's only).

We just need a DLC/Patch so we can do the same with Argenta (+romance).

:O tell me more!
I play as a male PC, and I was under the impression that you can't trigger romance with Heinrix even if you're woman unless you give up the chaos sword shard (which is kinda bad for heretic run).

Nah I'm full heretical and I got him wrapped around my finger.

Like I said he's adorable. Everytime you flirt with him he has to clear his throat or suddenly stutters and goes 'a-anyway'. Right now I have him teaching me to play chess.

ive romanced him in all 6 of my playthroughs xD
Didnt give up the sword shard in the first 3, tossed it into the reactor the second three. Not sure on corrupting him though. dont like being a heretic.

In my playthroughs he always ends up being the lord inquisitor of the Expanse and he and the RT work closely together.

Good God, no.
In 40K, it is survival.
Those aren't mutually exclusive. It can be both. The Imperium, as an institution, is racist. Whether it's justified or not to be has no impact on the hard definition and facts.

It isn't racist by the 2024 definition of the word. Actually, the Imperium's humanity is a lot more unified than we are IRL and this by a landslide. But it is racist towards pretty much anything that isn't human, and this includes mutated humans.
How do you figure that racism exists between two different species?

For the purposes of space fiction, speciesism is used interchangeably with racism, because the sentiment is still "us" and "them" where "them" is anyone different from "us". To put a point on that: in X-Men, the matter of humans vs mutants is always considered racism. But technically, mutants would be a new species, or subspecies, of humanity, not a race. You just have to face the fact the word speciesism (yes it's real) just doesn't... flow as well. It's awkward to say, let alone type.

Even if we removed the racism wholesale, it isn't required for fascism. Fascism often goes hand in hand with racism, but dictionary-definition, does not REQUIRE it. So even if the Imperium wasn't racist (or speciesist), it would still check nine out of ten of fascism's typical checkboxes.

The x-men were humans and can be returned to being humans according to at least one of the movies.

Is my hatred of spiders racism?

They are still genetically different from humans, making them a new subspecies. They aren't classified as "H Sapiens" but depending on the universe, either H Sapiens Superior or H Superior. Yeah it's stupid but it's scientifically sound. So technically, anti-mutant sentiments are speciesism, not racism. But no one likes saying speciesism. It's an awkward word. So racism it is.

Same goes for Ogryns in WH40K. They're a subspecies of humans, H Sapiens Gigantus. People still generally use the word racism to describe how humanity has enslaved them and treats them like poo.

As for your other question: you're arguing in bad faith, so it's irrelevant.

Both Argentina and Heinrix should be able to be corrupted.

Argentina is another schizophreniac religious zealot who believes in emperah hocus pocus and altruistic magics, Its just a snap to turn her into chaos, she has a weak spot for children, staging a children genocide or something like that could easily turn her into an iconoclast at worse.

Heinrix follows the trope of the borderline inquisitor on the verge of becoming a heretic, and that is something that could be exploited, cultivate a genocidal hatred towards the eldar and have him taste a bit of the pleasures of slaanesh.

Even Ulfar could be corrupted should the Thousand Sons appear in a future DLC, remember the heinous and brutal crimes commited by space wolves during the burning of prospero.

Certainly companion corruption could be implemented and be lore friendly with the setting, nevermind that I would be willing to pay for content related to the Thousand Sons in Rogue trader ( Imagine a Thousand Son sorcerer in power armor with an accursed bolter and chain-lighting )

Depending on who you ask in the Imperium, Space Wolves are already corrupted anyway. :V

Redemption, must ALWAYS come from within.
You cannot corrupt someone against there will either.

You absolutely can. It is called conditioning. It's actually fairly normal.

Yes, thank you. Interesting and on point.
Ultimately, forces of chaos are composed predominately from corrupted forces of Imperium, it's process as natural as forest fire.
Trying to play off some characters as untouchable, or, worse yet, pretending that theme of dragging them to the side of chaos is somehow wrong or not fitting with the theme of the setting is ridiculous.
