A couple annoying bugs - spoilers

I mostly wanted to post this to ask questions and see if I'm not one of the few that got these. There are two quests "Classified Information" and "Critical Tasks". Both of these quests require you to use your personal cogitator to complete...least I think it'll complete...I don't really know since I got Nomos. Once that came up access to my own cogitator is no longer possible, so these quests are no longer able to be complete. Yeah I know, I know people use toybox to get around issues like these...but I don't use toybox. I just wanna know if I'm not the only one or at the least is there another cogitator I can use to actually finish these quests...starting to think I should just wait a year to play this game anymore. I enjoy the game...I do...but this isn't the first time I couldn't complete a quest. Even started a new game to actually do Argenta's quest...

I never encountered a problem with using the personal cogitator to complete any of the nomos-related quests (up to the start of chapter 4; I got stuck there by other problems). I don't believe that there's any other cogitator you can use to complete the nomos quests.

Just to make sure we're talking about the same cogitator, it is the one on the bridge on the other side of the hologlobe from the elevator to your private quarters.

Also, I believe that Pasqal is involved in that quest chain, so if somehow you didn't have Pasqal that might cause problems with finishing the quests (although I did not have that situation, so this is just speculation on my part).

No no, those quests in particular...as far as I know have nothing to do with Nomos. Other than of course, being the cogitator that its currently residing in. I have Pasqal, that isn't the problem. After finding the databank on...blanking on the world, but the one with the adeptus infection. Its just those two quests:

As a small recap, the first required you to get two datapads and have that terminal decode them for you. I did the first...the second was on the world when Nomos popped up...so can't complete it because it doesn't give me that option anymore. The second started with a fuel gauge problem which I fixed, then it told you to go to a system. Then it says to check your cogitator. But with Nomos there...I can't check my cogitator...the only option is to talk to Nomos...but I don't wanna talk to Nomos, I just wanna check the frickin' cogitator...is there another cogitator that I don't know about? Is it in my personal quarters? Is it on another world? This is what I mean...
I like the aspect of Nomos, I'm intrigued to see what happens with it...but why would they put an npc into the cogitator thereby removing the ability to access said cogitator? Please, its frustrating the hell outta me...tell me I'm stupid and point me to the right cogitator if I'm using the wrong one. If I'm wrong I won't even be mad, just relieved. It probably won't even give me anything really good...I just wanna finish it to see what happens. WITHOUT using toybox....though at this point I am starting to think that's the only way I can finish it.

There isn't another cogitator, it is the same one. If I recall correctly, I had finished those quests before nomos manifested by name. So, my guess would be that you are exactly correct, that nomos is blocking you from finishing them. They are probably intended to be finished first, but the devs probably failed to force that order or build in a failsafe in case they were done out of order.

I wish I could give you better news. You might have to either back up before nomos to finish those quests, or resort to Toybox.
