It got painful.
Don’t mind the lack of fast travel because the party can sprint across a map to the exit.
15s to load main menu,
30s to get in-game...
RT is not asking SSD. Star Citizen is, Cyberpunk is. Not RT !! :D ^^
SO FAST !! GREAT OPTIMISED Loading Times. ;p
PS: Act/Chapter One..
Go from the system map to the expanse map, loading screen.
Go to another system, loading screen.
Go to your bridge to sell something, loading screen.
Go back to the system map, loading screen.
Go to the planet, loading screen.
Run across the map to the place you want to go, loading screen.
Run back to the first area to go back to your ship, loading screen.
You get my point.
They both use unity, which by default auto loads small scenes, resulting in countless of useless loading screens while exploring.
It can be solved with some work (maybe 1-2 man days), for example like Ori did it, also using unity, but added a seamless scene caching the background.
It put me off PoE2 and is the reason I stopped this game after some time.
That was atrocious
Good writing, hahaha.
