The worm churns? *Chapter 3 spoilers*

Am I missing something with that quest in chapter 3?
In my game, all it says is to "find and destroy the stifler", but when I check guides, theres a whole lot more of sabotaging pannels and using sacrifices, but in my game I can't interact with the assumed consoles in the first place. Is there more than one variation of it, or is it bugged on my end?

Ok, so this is how you do it:
1. The first stifler is outside the anatomical opera, kind of by the small gate.
2. The next thing is the various terminals inside the opera
3. You need to go to The Pit again and (if he's still alive) kill Malice and take control of the Shrikers. Then you sacrifice them to chaos.
4. During the final battle in the arena, before you get to run away and escape you will be given an final option to let lose a bag of magic chaos dust the breaks the final device.
