Nomos dialog in chapter 5

So, I had the same problem that with the Heinrix quest "price of humanity". When I go to the last tomn world, just before I can go there, Nomos come to talk to me. Except that his dialogue end abruptly, with a "end the discussion" as an only choice that cut to me in the bridge. I checked with toybox and it seems that there is dialog options and stuff, and I feel like I'm missing a good chunk of the story. Did someone has a trick to trigger it ?

I've done every dialogs I could. Normally I should ask him what does it mean but nah. I already has this kind of bug during the Abelard and Heinrix quest in act 4. This is annoying af

yeah no, this time I'm pretty sure it's a bug. See ? It is supposed to have waaaay more choices of dialogs.

I saw the problem when he said toybox. Probably broke some scripts with it, which is way easier than to fix them.

I used it only two times. The first was when I needed to fix the Heinrix quest, and the last was when I used it to cheat against the Lord of Change (but then I felt bad about it and reloaded the save to kill him normally)

ok, update : by shutting down toybox, I have only one screen of dialogue instead of three whe it's activated. It's probably it who mess with the dialogue

That is a danger inherent to such programs which can interfere with the internal game logic. Unless one knows all the things that need to be changed, errors can happen later. Like you set "continue quest A" but not "flag this as done to quest B". The program is great (many thanks to the authors), I have never seen such an omnitool before, but keep in mind that we can not only fix things with it, but also break them.

well if the damage is already done it wont - i only use toolbox on quests when it comes to things *not* working. The Aeldari in distress quest for example where it fails to trigger one or two of the fleets. I try not to touch etudes at all, the game will figure itself out when it comes to marking a quest complete in the quest section, it wont do that if you mess with etudes.

I mean, I used it too only for stuff like this. I did not tried to fool with it too much. But since I already met this kind of bugs even before installing it, I still have some doubt that it is what caused it, since everytime I did it is was unrelated to Nomos at any point

Yah toy box doesn’t do anything useless you yourself mess with an etude or something if toy box is off then you probably ran into a bug or something

A second thing I could think is that you influenced Nomos in several different way so you don’t get a conversation as he not influenced enough in a single direction

you probably right, the bug here is probably that this cutscene should not have started in the first place and the game don't know what dialogue to give me, it cut right here, or something like that

Another buggy dialogue, what else. My Nomos declared that I'm an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and do not wish to protect and have no light in me. Meanwhile I solved every situation possible with diplomacy and was nice to Nomos at every opportunity as well. Perfect ♥♥♥♥-cherry on top of this ♥♥♥♥-cake.
