The Necrons existence was meant to be a twist?
Then why are they in every single piece of promotional material for the game, including the animated short? it seems that whoever did all the marketing didn't know that a large part of the second half of the game was written in such a way as to have them be the answer to a a lot of lose ends.
Its like knowing who done it in a murder mystery movie from the opening scene and yet there still being all the obligatory red herring moments.

Beaten it sure, but it being a lense that interacts with the warp doesn't mean it is a chaos artefact.
A few experienced characters (including a psyker!!!) confirm in game that it's look exactly the same as Chaos-infected lenses you'd found. Then Uralon confirm your suspicions.
Ah I see what you're getting at now. When you say chaos artefact I assumed you meant an actual artefact created by chaos. Chaos corrupted things are their own (like that flect I mentioned earlier which is glass from a planet trapped in a warpstorm).

You also find out that Theodora sent a vessel that was very likely Nurgle plagued into a collision course with Craftworld Crudurach. The Farseer who tells you this in Act 3 mentions that the resulting plague that was released from the ship/debris proceeded to systemtically destroy Crudurach, which strongly hints to a Nurgle Pathogen, at the very least a warp-born "plague".

Both Theodora and Voigtvir were basically squabbling for favor/power—the latter wanted that warrant for that favor
.
Necron tech-blight. It was tech-blight made by Amarnat as a byproduct of his C'Tan shard research. That is why i say that some people do not or can no pay attention. Even the said farseer says that plague was not warp-related.
Does not change the fact that Theodora is a damn heretic.

And logs of experiments you'd found before meeting a Farseer also mention that this plague isn't related to psychic powers.

Confirmed: Most gamers don’t pay attention unless there’s bright lights and flashy explosions on screen. “I haven’t read a book since 4th grade” - says 90% of steam users

I am curious, do you have to not kill Yralie or whatever her name is to see any of this craftworld stuff? Other than an ending slide the craftworld was never seen nor mentioned in my playthrough.

Oh I also executed the eldar experiment who gets you out of gommorah in case he is the thing that takes you to the craft world.

I mean yes you get told alot of things by Yrliet, and the Eldar in general if you are nice to them. You dont get to see the craftworld in game(i imagine at a later date you will), but you do get to learn about what happened on it. There are also mentions of things related to it in Chapter 4 and 5 that i dont think are dependent on having Yrliet around, but if they are well, understandable.

Thanks. I knew a craft world was involved somehow because I got that spoiled but I don't think I saw a mention of it in game (which is what you'd expect if you just kill every elf you see).

Not going to lie, I was kind of hoping to destroy a craft world.

Nomos and Pasqal tell you about the tech blight. No need for elves
