Weapon Damage
Hello,

does anyone know how the damage of weapons is determined? I'm wondering about the following: The damage values for the weapons I can get in "Thunderfang" are much lower than in the Let's Play of CohhCarnage. For example, the damage from the greatsword is 16-24 for him, but only 11-17 for me.

Here is his Video for context: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feWVMIK77dU&list=PLN39y5i_H0FmXZUEpwoxC0s6nk_tDQg7u&index=12" (25:33)

Is the weapon damage random determined or does it have something to do with the difficulty because I don't play on hard like he does? Or is it something else?

They changed it recently so the extra damage from strength and other modifiers isnt displayed in weapon tooltips anymore so its easier to compare weapons if the person isnt holding it.

weapon damage is not random.

I think it because of power weapon mastery which increase two handed melee dmg

So the damage values shown on the weapon-Popup are not the base values of the weapon, but the actual values that the weapon would do?

And I dont miss out on damage because of bad rng or difficulty settings?

Hey,

could someone tell me if my guess is correct or did I not understand something yet?

Btw for each 10 points in Strength you also get +1 melee weapon damage (or +1 melee dmg /Sgth Bonus)
