Like, none of the things you mentioned amount to anything more than minor annoyance and some hilarious conversations if you take it is stride and occasionally actually tell her to chill out.
No, you aren't a "nice guy" for going along with her antics, you are a sucker.
It has nothing to do with being terrified of a romance option.
And hey, It's still better "romance" with eldar companions. What the ♥♥♥♥ even was that.
But I still think it's not going to bear fruits due to Cass being a Navigator.
If you think being led by the nose by a scammer to do her paperwork and gets rewarded with profit and sex is "romance" then I don't think you understand the word.
And concerning a certain recording scene, imagine if the genders where switched. Enough said.
Then again, I guess it's in character for a RT to roleplay a wasteful spender, you are certainly HAVING the option.
I'm not even sure if I can give Cassia, the game's equivalence of noble romance, a planet though. Now that would kinda make sense due to her background, but I guess even Cassia's romance writer realizes that it's too cringeworthy.
It's basically you granting her a part of your authority (given by the Emperor), which is already making the local Inquisitor giving you weird look.
I'm not sure if people thinks this through enough, considering xeno-tech isn't safe for human consumption.
EDIT: In fact, if you are roleplaying Iconoclaust, but you give her this, you pretty much prove you are either a greedy little ♥♥♥♥ or a fool, and don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the people.
To be fair, in 40.000 arranging her a library with rare books on a ship costs just as much as that planet you give Jae. Also the reason I don't really care about her shenanigans is because from RT roleplaying standpoint her actions amount to absolute nothing. Recording and painting? - You and other RT certainly have more significant sources of bad press (Like burning or not burning several planets). Her taking "gifts" because she sleep with you. For RT this is such insignificant amount that you can literally ask, why should you even care..
