Yremeryss fight impossible to beat
I switched to normal then to story difficulty. She rips my party appart in a few rounds.
Please fix it. There is NO WAY I can beat her.

Have your tank run up to her so that they are the one that tanks the melee attack. Let her have a turn if you have to, just kill all the incubi first and the 2 nearby grotesques. if you can 1 turn the incubi before they can act the fight is ezpz.
Any time a creature takes damages but does not die, the Archon gets a stacking, permanant buff, so wasting time on the Incubi and the Adds just makes it harder.

she gives them all a turn when you take her hp down and she skips the turn order.

Ive done the fight multiple times on unfair because i was trying to figure out how to get marazhai's quest to work where you make sure he is the one that kills her.

Trust me. killing everything else first is the easiest way to do it.

The Incubi were never as much of a threat as not being able to hurt the Archon after she got her buffs up, free turn or not. Wasting time on them only got me killed.

I'm currently at that point. I can pretty much kill her in one turn on Daring, but I'm trying to get Marazhai's Killing Blow to trigger and that's a reeeeeal pain in the ass. Is it even completeable right now?

The quest "completes" but it's bugged it always silently fails in the quest log. but as long as you get the soul stone dialogue after the fight then its complete. weather the game registers that is another question. oh and for your sanity keep a save right at the end of chapter 3 (before you go though the webway gate) as chapter 4 and 5 are a mess.

Thanks. Does the String of the Puppeteer always fails too for some reason?

My stupid Yrliet cirted her in 1 hit. Had to reload so I could get Mazs errand, the errand didn't work though. But at least I got to do it again...

it completed for me with the latest patches, the bug could be choice dependent. There are a lot of quest and scripting issues currently. Chapter 3 is where the alpha and beta testing stopped and it shows :P Best advice is keep saves at key points so you can back track not all fixes are retroactive.

She's one of the few "tough" fights before your party (Cassia/Argenta) gets OP.
Cassia should be finished with her second archetype and she should have picked all the navigator tallents that made her OP. Only 3 more navigator abilities to go for her.

Argenta was OP for a while when I got there. I got her with a heavy bolter just unloading burst fires while standing in a Strategist's rear line area that I doubled up with the Locus strategem and then I have the front line under the enemy and use the skull icon strategem. Then my RT and Cassia keep giving her turns with take it down and Finest Hour and use Argenta's arch militant heroic to give her extra attacks per turn. It's a very specific setup but it just melts everything.

Didn't have any problems at all, got it on first try... Honestly I expected it to be more difficult after reading the forum. When I'm surrounded I usually use Frontline zone + Stronghold Stratagem and some buffs (Shield of the Emperor) to get armour high enough so that my guys don't get one-shotted. In this particular case I buffed Abelard and he held the center, tanking everyone (170% armour is a flex for the sake of screenshot, but anyway he had more than enough). Cassia made a nearest Grotesque wait with "hold my gaze" and used remaining AP (I have a staff that allows her to use two attacks per turn) to stun some guys and cluster them together, so that they made better targets for Argenta, who did her thing with 3-4 heavy bolter bursts per turn. Pasqal received his Finest Hour to deal with both turrets when they appeared (he has plasma with 50% armour penetration which works great in such cases) while Heinrix healed, buffed and protected Cassia from the flank once reinforcements had arrived.

I'm playing on Daring, no guides or cheats.

Fought her on two different run, one on daring, one on hard. I somehow found out a specific way to murder most high hp drukharis, have a pyromancy character, preferably arch militant and use inferno on her.
For some reason inferno can't be dodged and it has a base 80% hit chance to go central line, it counts as a burst attack with staff power = number of shots and count as psychic power attack so the drukhari "burn of the warp" works on every single shot from inferno meaning that after the first psychic power damage she takes she will take ignite damage +10% of her hp on every single shot of inferno. On hard she took took more than her 50% health trigger on first inferno (can't tell the number because cutscene triggered instantly) then used the heroic act version of inferno (doubling the amount of projectile) and one shot her, 80% *16 shots to hit her for ignite+10% of her health, she took way over 1k damage. Also i could bet that warp burn and biophysical distortion probably procs "burn of the warp" making her take a free 10% max health on every single proc.
