Yremeryss fight impossible to beat
I switched to normal then to story difficulty. She rips my party appart in a few rounds.
Please fix it. There is NO WAY I can beat her.

You can beat her.

buff's and debuffs are your friend here, Take out as many mooks as you can first then use your operatives to put as many debufs on her as you can, She will heal so you need to do as much damage per hit as you can and try to use ability's that give extra turns. also sniper assassins work wonders here. Make sure you are geared and have plenty of med kits.
I was doing 50- 100 damage to her per hit. So tldr challenging fight if you run in blind but not impossible. Learn the systems.

That's the final boss of act 3 right? Yeah it can be a bit of a hassle, but its doable. Your strategy will probably change a fair bit depending on who you have, but broadly you have two strategies that can work.

Option 1. Retreat down the stair case. Just run. Kill the two monsters down there, take pot shots at the pursuing melee guys, and don't worry about the reinforcements because they're mostly trash. Once you've got your buffs in order, you can engage again. At that point its a matter of blasting down Yrremeryss as fast as you can.

Option 2 . Position yourself either to the left or right side of the arch way at the top of the stairs and use Ulfar as a barrier between the melee guys and the rest of your team. They hit hard, but he should be good enough in melee/durable enough to hold them off. Pick them and the monsters off before turning your attention to Yremeryss.

Either option works, so long as you remember the following.
1. Buffs and debuffs are king, use them.
2. There is no such thing as overkill.
3. Explosives and drugs are your friends and the Dark City has a lot to offer you.
4. Yremeryss I think is the first enemy to use grand strategist abilities against you, meaning she'll pick a spot on the field to apply debuffs to. She only does this once, and won't move it once its placed so just avoid that spot.
5. Yremeryss is really scary in melee and at range. Your squishy people need to be in cover and have dodge buffs in place, and Ulfar is the only person you have that can stand up to her in melee. Abelard might be able to survive, I didn't have him in my fight. Treat her like space marine, and rely on positioning and overwhelming force to bring her down.

I'm in act 4 without lowering the difficulty. It's possible to do.
Keep in mind how you've built your team and what their strengths are in a fight. Look at the terrain and come up with a plan that may allow you to lay into them while reducing what they may be able to do to you.

AOE the adds that spawn on either side every round and just focus fire her. Spread out and use cover. Your going to be fighting bosses with thousands of HP going forward and shes not particularly high health.

I´ve struggled with the fight too.

My solution was:
1. Retreat down the stairs immediatley
2. Take cover with every companion
3. Use AOE Attacks on the stairs and if the enemy is too close use flash bangs
4. Be aware of the second phase with the turrets. In the second phase it can be a good option to retreat even further back

I tend to manage by beating all her friends except the two guys down the stairs and than the boss as all her allies gets a turn when she regains all her health. The two downstairs tend to do nothing dangerous at all, most of the time just missing their shots.

I had no problems with her on Unfair.

She's one of the few "tough" fights before your party (Cassia/Argenta) gets OP.

Cassia should be finished with her second archetype and she should have picked all the navigator tallents that made her OP. Only 3 more navigator abilities to go for her.

I defeated her by falling back to the stairs and focusing fire on her and only her until she went down (early turn 3 she was fully dead) Don't feed her buffs by damaginf chaff, and don't give her time to build up in power level. By falling back, you stay a round or two out of melee range from the Incubi, and the grotesques don't hurt as much as they look like they should. Once the Archon is dead, the turrets go down and there are no more Adds.

This. Retreat asap to the bottom of the stairs and get more control over the fight there

dont retreat. kill everything that's not yremeryss except the grotesques at the bottom of the stairs they are no real threat.

Have your tank run up to her so that they are the one that tanks the melee attack. Let her have a turn if you have to, just kill all the incubi first and the 2 nearby grotesques. if you can 1 turn the incubi before they can act the fight is ezpz.
