Why does the game give you every opportunity to hand Ylriet over to Heinrix, but not Marazhai?
Furthermore, why is there no option to shoot him in his smug frakking face as soon as the first fight with him on your side is over? Everyone is riding my grox for keeping Ylriet around but still gives me the chance to betray her, but I don't even once get an option to say "yo be chill I'm gonna stab Marazhai in the back at the first opportunity"

You can give-up Marazhai to Inquisition. There is even achievement for doing it.

I shot Marazhai in the face at the first opportunity. Why would I wait?

I mean you're given no chances to betray him instantly and have to wait until you leave Comorragh to do it. The game constantly gives you options to talk crap to Ylriet and to give her up immediately when you get her, and even gives you a few options to kill her in Commorragh.

That's what I was thinking, I wanted to just shoot him in the face in the arena after the first fight.

That is what I was allowed to do. Why weren't you? He just took part in a gladiatorial fight on the other side and then quietly died with no pomp.

Yeah, thats badly written. The only reason my character took him along was the incredible ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up situation he was in, operating under the maxim of "any help is welcome now" with the firm intention to kill him the moment he was no longer useful. Said moment arrived and I was not given the option to shoot him/betray him. I was honestly dissapointed with that.

And then one of the next scenes. Everybody is understandably pissed at a certain Eldar and demands action. Would be fine so far in itself. But not while ignoring the Dark Eldar who is prancing around on the bridge. I mean, what the hell?

You can shoot him there and then in the arena. Just don't make him any offers earlier.

You can kill him in Comorragh easily. You instead picked an option to make a deal with him - and angry that can't betray him instantly? o_O Hey, it's a computer game - devs aren't able to code all possible actions.

At multiple points in the story you are given the option of shooting members of your party or give other members of your party the order to do so. I would have really appreciated such an option right in front of a certain exit. Preferably a signal to the whole party to shoot him together. You know, as a team building exercise.

This. You can execute basically any of your party members at certain points, especially Idira, Cassia and ESPECIALLY especially Ylriet. It's bizarre that you can't talk Marazhai into working with you, then stab him in the back as soon as he's no longer useful.

The game seems to think that offering him a deal = you're an evil dude who's happy to work with the ultra evil dark elf, and not that you're offering a deal with the intent to stab him in the back.

Ah you see I offered to shoot him in the face in the arena in that conversation.
I'm subtle like that.

But it was a ruse. Argenta shot him in the face.

Oh that's disappointing, I had hoped I could use him to get out and then give him to Henrix to get back in the =I='s good graces by giving them a Drukhari former leader.

You actually can do that. The problem is, if you plan to do that, that after chapter 3 a whole lot of cutscenes play before you regain control of your character. Since the presence of the Dark Eldar should rightfully outrage anyone present handing him over to the inquisition should happen before all of that and you should be able to arrange it before reaching your ship.

I was shocked Heinrix didn't bring it up when he goes to ask you to do his quest. "Hey thanks for agreeing to go bail out my friend, oh yeah about that drukhari you picked up... oh you want me to throw him in a box? Say no more, Lord Captain."

I waited till we were about to leave before handing him over, it was hilarious and I enjoyed it

What's weird is there's an option to hand him over to the Mandrakes... but you can't make it. Like, why not? I didn't want him on my ship and some ghoulish, immortal race was saying they'd punish my bloodline forever if I didn't hand him over... WTF Owlcats?
