Recoil Gloves
Do they do anything? I'm equipping them on Argenta with a heavy bolter, but the recoil value isn't going down when I mouse over her weapon. or r-click her for her combat stats

Try to fire burst from that bolter and you will see the difference (or check burst mode in combat log).

Ah so it's reflected in the combat log instead of with stats. mmmm... Also, heavy bolter or precise bolter? Precise bolter does more damage overall (both single shot and burst), but heavy bolter throws more shots, which means that with Argie's ROF raising stuff her crit damage goes into the stratosphere.

You can always go for the "yes" route.

Nothing stops you from equipping a heavy bolter & the precise bolter. You've got 2 weapon slots - use 'em :)

depends on whether you built the rest of the squad with buffing her in mind - there are so many sources of flat damage that 4x20 vs 8x8 (as an example) will very very rapidly turn into 4x40 vs 8x28, and then 8x68. I'm nowhere near optimized, and my Argenta tends to crit in that range every fight (and with every single shot due to Confident Approach) even if it's not a particularly long one, way more than that if Jae is around on top of Cassie. Take your pick which is better :D

Act 2? Definitely - Calibrated Heavy Stubber.

One of faction vendor. Don't remember exactly who is.

Because A LOT more dakka. Only Improved Heavy Bolter (from Act4) will have ~equal stats to it.

P.S. There is technically broken OP Deadeye Splinter Rifle and it's the best gun but Argenta unable to use it.

Calibrated Heavy Stubber is from the Kabalistica mission store.

You can earn a free normal Heavy Stubber in Act 2 as well if you keep exploring.

When you get the blessed bolter casing is where you swap over to the heavy bolter.

Auto hitting on Argenta's ultimate is insanely good.

Why? 5% chance to miss is not that much and Stubber stacking per attack bonuses much better (also getting much more from Versatility & MT buffs).
