Is it ever explained why Theodora attacked Spoiler.

Is it ever explained why Theodora attacked the craft world and how did the entire crew forget about it ?

The vast majority of a voidship never know who or why their ship is fighting. Some amongst the bridge crew might know, assuming that they weren’t killed, mindwiped or turned into servitors.

I never figured out why other than it was presumably something involving the inquisition and a bomb of some sort.

Partial memory wipe is not something hard. It is an eaasy imperial tech, albeit risky. But Theodora had Amarnat with her, so...
As too why the crafword needed to be destroyed - because it had an ancient aeldari blade holding the certain greater daemon of Tzentch. Theodora was in contact with the cult ( because she had unique lenz and tried to use it before her death ). But it is not known if she was a true cultist or just stupid heretic. Though Uranor and the daemon in question insist that she served chaos.

Though if i had to guess, my theory is that the way it originally was going to go down according to the plan of Chaos and the like it went like this.

- Chaos Be scheming as they do.
- Khronos expanse looks yummy, begin plan to destory/capture it all.
- Use Theador, corrupt her with Alure of power and chaos
- Begin to work on removing forms of major resistance in the sector, other RT houses, and the Craft world eldar.
- Use the machine eating virus to do so because it works super well.
- Have Theodor come across Nomos the Ctan
- The edge of daybreakes original plan was to have nomos seal off the sector from the imperium so that chaos could then proceed to devour it, which was what Ularons plans was.
- However Theador died and threw a wrench in everything, which is why the master of whispers was pissed when he found out she had died because the plan was that SHE still needed to finish her end, which was having nomos seal off the khronos expanse.

Theodora wanted to take the ratlings to Isengard! But it went against her Copyright Warrant and thus got eradicated after an urgent investor vox-call.

Unfortunatly this. Act 1-3 are fine, 3 has a bit of a weird story plot but acceptable, if 4 and 5 followed it up better, but the suddenly necrons sucks.

Its kinda makes sense, because dark eldar, they are a constantly bubbling pot of political upheaval and betrayal.

I think Teodora used different ship for luring the Eldar. Because those xenos are arrogant jerks but know well how to destroy something. After they "finished" the threat - there is nothing remain for repair.
