Chapter 4 'Great Judgment' quest -- outcome for Iconoclast (spoilers)

(All spoilers below, not going to block it out)

I am at the end of the Great Judgment footfall quest (Vladym vs. Incendia) -- I am level 4 Icono at this point.

1) Accepted quest from Incenda with the (Lie) option.
2) Spoke to Vladym and accepted his offer to lure Incendia in.
3) Persuaded everyone I could -- bartender, Ryzza and even Hieronymous to stand up to Incendia.
4) [did Jae's sewer side quest -- seems unrelated but I'll put it here.)
5) Told Vladym I was ready.
6) Incendia enters, and I successfully complete the high level Icono statement + the Lore Imperium dialogue. Incendia repents.
7) I have her state her crimes and then I banish her from the station. She leaves.
8) Then Hieronymous apparently forgets our deal and has a freak out and attacks us.

Is it as simple as that? No peaceful solution for Icono?

Lucky you are, I'm running iconoclast and still had to kill them mad woman and crazy preacher (I tried to resolve peacefully).
