So, Yrlett... [Act 3 spoilers]
i might have missed a few dialog lines so please bear with me. I just want to be sure.

Did she send RT into a trap knowingly?

I first I thought they somehow tricked her. But reading some posts it seems whe deliberately cospired with the drukhari?

But it is already too late. I am completely burnt out with her and her people.

She even goes on and on about how evil the drukhari are, how bad, how treacherous, etc etc.

It has ruined my iconoclast playthrough. As soon as act 3 is finished I am going full dogmatic on all these motherfickers. She will be preferentially turned into the inquisition (probably a faith worse than death) or executed. And I will have no mercy with any new xenos scum

It doesn't make sense anyone would trust the dark eldar dude AFTER he has ravaged RT capital. No sense. I cannot forgive her stupidity.
Owlcat wrote the Iconoclaust path wrong as a joke.

Well I enjoyed that a lot, only transaction scene between 3 & 4 acts is killed Yrliet for me. When after all that development she refused to say a word to my companions that suffered because of here >_<

They warned you: on alignment screen both Iconoclast & Heretic share the same marker - Heresy :)

I kneel...

TRVE TO THE EMRPAH.

And Argenta continues to surprise me, all other companions are lying down or enslaved but she's PREACHING to the mass for a staged rebellion against Dark Eldar.
Now THAT's a Sister of Battle.

And she didn't even bring that part up, or even hinting it (because Dark Eldar are just peachy really).

That's either supreme stupidity, or she's malicious.

And you and your crew are alive because it's pretty much plot armor and a freaking Harlequin saving you.
In normal scenario, all of you would be dead or enslaved like Yrliet.

She does not. All Marazhai said was 'go there if you want to find out more of what happened to your people. Not "Meet me there and I'll tell you."

Should she have guessed they'd be there invisibly with 'Plot Gas' that would take out our entire group, even those wearing face rebreathers but leave the humans right next to us functional? The Plot dicated we get caught without fighting just as it dictated our release. I can only judge her on intent. And she never intended for us to go on vacation to Drukworld amusment park.

I don't disagree that she absolutely should know better than to trust Drukhari. But her entire people suffer from that, so I'll call it a genetic thing.

And the dialogue to get her back is so cringe "Yrilet is mine alone!". Like, who wrote this? 12 year old? This is not Arueshalae ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, its warhammer 40k aeldari. And after all this ♥♥♥♥ she still calls you Mon-keigh by the way, not to say "human", but to insult you more. Really think Slaanesh should've eaten their whole race, exept Harlequins, because Cegorach is chill.

Honestly I only took that line because it gets you a free knife and a dead Drukhari.

Are you playing word play?
No, she literally tells you that Marazhai, her cousin, has leads about her people disappearing, not just anyone, but Marazhai.

And no, the plot gas part makes sense, it's what Dark Eldar too, their gas can melt gas mask no problem.
Still, I'm surprised you still try to defend her because other companions kill mooks on the bridge.

I repeat, WITHOUT plot armor, not only her but you, your retinue, your mooks, your ship and millions of people will die due to HER stupidity and betrayal.

I think romance with ork freebooter would've been better than Yrilet arc and writing. Let me romance Kaptin Badrukk. He is so cool in Brutal Kunnin book.

That line is consistent with a character who's literally enthralled by Eldar's sexy allure magic.
It's practically a part of every Yrliet (and Cassia) options because you can play a horndog.

If you play as iconocast degenerate, better to romance drukhari Marazhai then.

Uh, you having those conversation means she still betrays you in your playthrough.

Sound like being nice and helpful didn't help you get a slug outta your brain.

No it means she got a lead, and asked me to follow it. Not that she deliberately turned me over to the enemy. That's why when I first entered the ship, she tries to press the crew for information about her people.

As opposed to Achilleas, who, if you never recruit Yrliet, does knowingly send you into the arms of the enemy.

I'll agree she was stupid to trust the source of info. But she did not purposely betray me.
She didn't betray you for wanting to follow up the lead (just incredibly stupid to the point she has single handedly proven Eldar inferiority to the Human race).

She betrayed you by not informing you about your own spymaster betraying you and communicating with what is basically your #1 enemy at that point in the plot and not disclosing it. If she had gone "yeah so I found your spymaster communicating with and taking orders from Marazhai so I killed him. Marazhai told me we might find clues to my craftworld on this voidship" and you went and got captured, you wouldn't have been betrayed.

I am a somewhat Icon but now full Dogmatic after this incident (and ♥♥♥♥-awesome Dogmatic dialog choices in Act 3 start, picking you and your retines up from the crapper).

I'm still saying Yrliet still decides to lie to you in the Iconoclaust option, she trusts the Dark Eldar because she's racist and thinks even Dark Eldar are more trustable than mon-keights. Dogmatic dialog just shows the real ugly truth instead of hurr hurr Slaneesh.

Its so sad that Heresy path is stupid, it dont fit at all in the narrative, and written like chaotic evil ♥♥♥♥ from pathfinder, and Iconocast is a meat to pound by everyone, all people wipe floors with you. So yes. Dogmatic path it is, exept some choices were you kiss Inquisition and Ecclesiarchy ass. Ulfar is the best companion in the game by the way, he dont take ♥♥♥♥ from Inquisition and dogmatic to Imperial Truths before Horus Heresy. He is my favourite in narrative, character story (LORE), quest and voiceover.

The Inquisition is shady but they have always been shady.

All the Dogmatic characters are still balls on the wall awesome and I wouldn't let people say otherwise.
