A quick weapon question
I'm just curious, have any of my fellow players found a heavy plasma or las weapon at all?
I've found heavy flamers, meltas, bolters and solid, but no las or plasma.

You can buy a heavy plasma from the exploritators. It looks identical to a plasma rifle in inventory and on characters.

No, there's no plasma cannon or lascannon as far as I know. Even though those are both man-portable weapons.

There is definitely a heavy plasma, but I have seen no las-cannon, or assault cannon, or multi-laser, or knight titan.

To clarify on what others are saying, there is a weapon called "heavy plasma gun". It's not actually a heavy weapon at all, just a misleadingly named plasma gun.

Bit of a pity that, I had geard Pasqual towards using plasma, and I noticed his mechandrite could support a heavy weapon. I suppose I could change it to melta instead. Most of the talents work for melta as well as plasma.

The best melta weapons in the game can't compare with even the mid-range plasma guns.

And the best "melta" weapon in the game isn't a Melta weapon at all, it's a Dark Eldar Dark Lance (especially it's upgraded special version the Gaze of the Void), and that's a Laser weapon that functions similarly to a Melta. So you can't build for it with a melta build, you need to do a special heavy weapon + dark eldar + laser build.

Stick to Plasma guns with Pascal and find the Overcharge Gloves. You'll get a stack of different plasmaguns and they progress throughout the game so you won't get stick with a mid-range weapon unless you're very unlucky.

* Use your Prey charges
* Perfect Spot (if you aren't going to move)
* Machine Spirit Communion
* Tactical Knowledge
* Cull The Bold
* Analyse Enemies (pick an enemy you're about to shoot)
* Shoot an overcharged plasma shot, obviously you need to save enough AP to actually fire the gun so you can't always do every buff every turn.

You want Hunt Down the Prey, Claim the Bounty, Hunter's Ambush (shoot anything immobilised or stunned), Cull The Bold, Passive Learning, Tide of Excellence, Perfect Spot, Plasma Weapon Expert, Pinnacle of Weaponry, Aiming Protocols, Overcharge Protocols, Assisted Analysis, Fresh Target, Uncanny Sight, Comprehensive Analysis, Dual Weapon Combat

Ancient plasma gun add intelligence not int bonus to damage. What plasma weapons are recommended?

The only one that's particularly special is the overcharged plasma gun and that's a late game and you might never get it.

It's special feature didn't work for me, so it's just like any other plasma gun.

edit - I might be dumb that I might be confusing it's feature with the ability to actually attack multiple times, which you can't do without a buff from another character or something like wildfire, but either way I don't think it's anything special.

I really wish for plasma cannon for my boi Pascal, but the man is really at his best with the plasma pistol.

But nothing beats having over 100 or over 200 points of extra damage on each attack with a plasma weapon guaranteed. That is what ancient plasma weapon does. It adds twice the intelligence as damage. Not INT bonus full on stat.
