Space combat, can't beat the Drukhari in Odaenathus...
Act2, just leaving the toxic prison with the Drukhari arena
As soon as you move in the system map you're jumped by 2 super fast and powerful destroyers that oneshot your escort and breach your shields on Turn 1
Okay I spam torps with my Ult (ship is level 3), destroy one ship, then another but can't avoid taking damage as they're faster and more maneuverable
But then 2 others jump on you, rinse and repeat, my ship is nearly destroyed, and when you kill those 2 then 2 others again, and there's a timer (12 turns) ???
Seems totally out of balance and unwinnable, can't run can't fight, first time I have that issue (except the first space fight but I didn't play well at that time, and it is winnable)
Or is there some hidden weird strategy ??

I don't know the specifics of the trigger for it, but I only had to fight 4 ships in that fight, I could literally hear the next two enemies taking their turn as I was on the victory/loot screen. Still took me a few tries since they just do so much damage. When I won, my main focus was trying to keep healthy shields facing whatever ships were left, then getting as close as possible (Dark Eldar ships have far less evasion if you get to point blank range).

Regarding your torpedo ultimate, save that for the second wave. It could be that quickly finishing both ships in wave 2 on the same turn is what ends the battle before wave 3 can warp in.

Can't get any good position, they're faster can run around your ship, fire and end up in your butt...
Oh I did think I've won once after destroying 4 ships as I got to the victory screen, but the battle didn't end "in the background", game still spawned 2 more enemies that destroyed my ship !!! Looks bugged ...

Yeah, the battle ends as soon as the last spawned enemy is destroyed... there are 3 or 4 waves total, but the battle will end before if you can clear. And yeah, the waves will still spawn behind the victory screen, so yeah, slightly bugged.

But anyhow, if you can quickly blast the first 2, you can end it first turn. The usual torpedo + control can take care of one easy, the other you have to gun down.

Having the 3 torpedo a turn super ability also help a lot. This being said, if you are speced differently and are really just stuck (even at lowered difficulty), you can always use toybox to kill a few ships. It sucks but at least you can progress.

Spamming torps don't prevent my ship from being destroyed, I can barely kill 1 enemy/turn and the others take potshots in my bum, shields aren't even useful vs one of their attack that kill 50 hull each time
I'm pretty pissed off, and can't get Toybox to run neither :steamfacepalm:
