Glowing Stone for Cassia (spoilers)

I remember from the beta that Cassia is ultimately BETTER for having had the glowing stone implanted into her and breaking it once you free her from commoragh, if you turn on Felek right at the start do you miss this plot point entirely?

I think so? I didn't have anything related to it, but it explains an odd point of dialogue in Chapter 4. Asked her how she was and it mentioned something on her person that had broken, which made no sense to me (thought it might have been her Atlas, but that would be a major thing that wasn't brought up either).

My guess is you get other plot points with her powers being unchained earlier than that, though.

Just curious what is better about it? does she get a stat buff? how big?

I put that into the cargo when the quest is over.

I hope it is not Warp-related.

I can't remember it was ages ago I just remember her hitting like a freight train instead of a dump truck.
