I've given up on the game for a while due to Chapter 4 bugs, so one question - am I right in thinking that Pasqual is Armanat with memory loss?

He is part of the Aramat Collective wich is formed out of 6 different techpriests. Those are Pasqual, Abel, Dementz, Tarzus and two more whose names are somewhat hard to remember when you only read them once. In Act 4 after eufrates 2, you get a companionquest will reveal everything

He is part of the Armanat hivemind collective, of six techpriest and the decision maker of it. They altered their memory and spend some 150years as different people, that all thought they were the students of Armanat, as a time to solve a problem they encountered.
He was one of the original creators of the Armanat collective.
